DeSean actually signed with Washington in 2014, Gruden's first year. He didn't play under Shanahan.

Garcon signed in Washington when the Shanahan's were there. They made him a featured receiver in that offense. I think theres a decent shot we might pursue him.

I would love to go younger if thats what we are going to do? Not a peep from me. I got my wish for the year Baalke aint touching the draft. On that note. I love Cooper and Hunt has made some noise. If we go all out and go youth. I've been saying it this is the draft. The possibilities are endless.

Starting with the Exos in San Diego.

Could be a trade up candidate with our second. Groom to take over one of the safety spots.
"There will be a lot written about Jabrill Peppers of Michigan between now and draft day, but the Big Ten standout will likely take it all in his stride. Peppers' issue is a bizarre one as the player that once played 10 positions for the Wolverines in a single game may actually be hurt in terms of where he is picked because of his incredible versatility.

Peppers is an electric and energizing player as you can see from this video. The NFL though (with a few exceptions) is super conservative in its approach to football. At the NFL level you can argue that every player out there is a versatile athlete, so as a result the personnel guys whose jobs depend on their ability to pick players to fit into a rigid lineup, want college players that are an expert at one position with the ability to switch to a similar position in a pinch.

Simply put, they don't need a guy that can play 10 positions very well when they can pick someone who plays two positions excellently.

There are however outliers to this way of thinking. One of them (and you may have heard of him) is a fella named Bill Belichick. Belichick has built his Patriots dynasty by outmaneuvering his opponents. One way he has done this is to take players with skill sets similar to Peppers and uses them to dominate games by creating matchups to exploit either offensively or defensively. Also, Belichick has the very last pick in the first round of the draft and a roster so loaded that he just won a Super Bowl.

If New England is interested in Peppers then this video that shows everything he does well will not turn them away from perhaps the most polarizing player in the 2017 NFL Draft."

If he drops because of his versatility, please use our 2 pick to take him. One of Best player in this draft. Remember who has been saying it .

Alshon Jeffries, Desean Jackson with Corey Davis or Mike Williams..

A lot of possibilities. Get to work

I don't see Jackson and Torrey on the same team together. In my opinion, it's one or the other.

Is he gonna participate in the combine drills. I wanna see your boy in the DB drills and turning his hips

Our GM used to be a safety, I'm feeling good to give us a good safety pairing especially with uncertainty of our current ones and the Ward webzone controversy lol.

I stand corrected...I thought these two had worked together...

Boom! Exactly.. You hit it... When you see those hips turn it looks fluid, natural and the speed and strength to make up for any time loss if needed.. .

It looks like he is. The hamstring looks healed. I cant wait for the combine.

"Among the 51 former Big Ten players who will attend the NFL combine, Michigan and Ohio State combined to make up 41 percent of the list. The event will occur from Feb. 28-March 6 in Indianapolis.

According to the Detroit Free Press, S Jabrill Peppers, RB De'Veon Smith, TE Jake Butt, WR Jehu Chesson, OL Ben Braden, DE Taco Charlton, CB Jourdan Lewis, DT Ryan Glasglow, S Delano Hill, CB Channing Stribling, LB Ben Gedeon, WR Amara Darboh and CB Jeremy Clark will serve as the Wolverines' participants.

For the Buckeyes, RB Curtis Samuel, S Malik Hooker, WR Noah Brown, P Cameron Johnston, CB Marshawn Lattimore, C Pat Elflein, CB Gareon Colney and LB Raekwon McMillan will all attend the combine."

Agreed.

Altho I live in Philly area and they're saying the same things. Guess every team that needs WRs are saying the same thing.

A long way to go, and a lot of competition for these players

They need someone to take the top off. We're mostly looking for our Jordan Matthews and hopefully even better. They should take John Ross IMO.

Great stuff. Also Peter King's interview with Lynch on his podcast was great.

While it's debatable whether Shanahan is a better choice for HC than McDaniels, I think nearly everyone would agree that Lynch/Shanahan is a better combo than Riddick/McDaniels.
