Aww man, Lynch is already a puppet for Jed:

I was afraid of this, first time GM turned "Yes Man", towing the company line and stroking Paraag already.
For all the controversy about Paraag, the one thing that does not seem to be in question is that he's good at managing the cap and at negotiating contracts, which every front office needs to be on top of.
As far as we know, he was in on all of these interviews and Lynch and Shanahan still chose to go with the 49ers. I've got to expect that Shanahan likely asked the same questions about his role and what he has heard about him. It sounds like Baalke didn't care what Paraag did but Lynch (and probably Shanahn) do and this is a new front office structure. As long as he stays in his lane, he won't be a problem.
Lynch has only been on the job a couple of days and Shanahan wont' be here until next week, so, it's entirely possible that everyone is playing nice for now and it could unravel down the line. But, if Lynch and Shanahan both have 6 years deals and remain aligned, it's going to be a lot easier for Jed to move Paarag to another position than it will be to get a new HC and GM.
