They also traded a young TE prospect, Jacob Hollister, to the Seahawks who proceeded to ball out for Seattle after going there. For a 7th round pick. Here's this for perspective. Hollister totaled 41 catches for 349 yards and 3 TDs. That's more catches/TDs than all four New England TEs combined in 2019. Between Watson, LaCosse, Izzo, and Tomlinson, they combined for 36 catches, 419 yards, and 2 TDs. That was a stupid trade for them.

So nice to see a niners draft class on a list that doesn't include the words bust or ACL injuries for a change.

Thanks for posting! 4 Saints on that list as well. They draft farther back every year and continue to reload. They and the Pats have been excellent at scouting for a number of years. I hope we can keep it up and hold our staff intact!

It's like the twilight zone.

I agree, they have seemed to have finally slipped in the drafting department recently after being stellar for so long, meanwhile the Niners and Saints have had 2-3 home-run years and will likely become mainstays in the playoffs for a while as a result.

I'm thinking we may see Lynch try and trade a couple of our 2021 picks for a 2020 pick. This is a good year for O line (rare these days) and I'm pretty sure they would like to get a good guard/center. LB depth, another D lineman, corner, receiver. All could be possibilities.

I'd rather see them trade down a couple times and add picks that way. Draft tend to go flat from 20 to 40 most year anyways. As they are going to be giving big deals to guys like Kittle, Buckner, Warner, potentially Armstead and others, they will need to fill as many roster spots with players on rookie deals as possible. Now is the time to start building up some more cheap depth because there will be players that they won't be able to retain and they'll need immediate replacements for them in the next few years.

We are also in a spot where veterans will take less than a premium to play for a winning team and a winning culture.

And with rookies, unless we take a G or CB with our 1st rounder, it would reason that the expectation would be for them to work their way up. No more moving directly into the starting lineup.

A trade down for a 2nd and 3rd makes sense. Resign AA and Sanders, franchise Buckner, extend Kittle, and maybe look at the CB or C position in FA.

Can get more than 10 for pick 32
