Right. Not sure how people can criticize what Denver has built during that time period. They've been one of the most successful teams in the league in every respect. Drafting, FA signings, the coaching staffs they've put together. It's all been top-notch, among the very best in the league.
Bringing in someone from that background, who also spent time in New England can only be a positive. I mean, thats what we're looking for right? To bring successful people in the organization.
No one is criticizing Denver. What I was saying is staffs have a short shelf life. Denver had Manning and they won for 4 years. They now have Two QB's that definitely aren't him. If they don't produce over the next couple of years staffs get fired. Coming here with a group that gets AT LEAST 6 years is a motivator IMO. Think about it this way, do you think the coaches on our 2012 staff thought they would've been gone two seasons later?
