But honestly, the team won't miss him that much. Injured and then suspended. He was okay but nothing we couldn't live without.
2019 off-season will be a reboot to the rebuild.
Oh and Bosa has some red flags. If he were even slightly less talented, he would NOT be considered in the conversation of us taking him #1 overall.
Great points, but I'm not hanging them by the 2017 draft. It wasn't like Thomas was a reach or a surprise. If anything we've used and developed him wrong. (Still a reflection of the front office and coaches but you get what I mean). Foster was a risk, but it made sense at the time. We knew this might happen. Sucks but we understood the risk.
Witherspoon is meh imo.
Beathard is ok. Probably could have snagged him later, but not a horrible pick.
Kittle is obviously the best pick of the draft. Seems like a great kid too
Williams was a huge bust.
Taylor and Jones are ok picks. They contribute.
Don't know the next guy lol
Colbert was a steal. Solid backup at worst imo
I guess many would argue this is a very "normal draft" it's hard to even hit 30% success never mind 50% right?
The problem is the misses at the top. Usually aside reaching for a an the first round or two are guys who will start and play well.
That cannot happen again and it looks like they got it right this time around with McGlknchey for sure. Warner for sure as well. However Pettis looks like s**t imo and again, tough to miss on a 2nd rounder.
Bosa flags? You mean injuries. I'm not that concerned tbh.
