That's not happening. Lynch didnt play Solomon Thomas at LEO. Don'the forget, our DC also thought it was s good idea to play AA with his 5.0 + 40-time at LEO.

As for Foster, Lynch isn't the first to take a risk on such a player. Unfortunately Foster has a special kind of stupid. He also questioned the shoulder, and a member of our world class medical staff said what shoulder? He also had Joe Williams off his draft board and Kyle pushed to get him.

We've got a lot of legit football guys making decisions. It's time they made some real football decisions. Character needs to check out, play guys where they should be played, and get more aggressive in fixing the team.

No, but what is he most qualified for? A GM role or a PR team systems role? What role is Adam Peters best suited for?

It's actually a promotion for both.

This Lynch is more of a PR guy .. smooth BS talker
Theyre going have the fewest draft picks this offseason that they've had in a long time. They better make each one of them count.

Can't draft worth a damn

Its not like there's a guarantee with any of these players. Had the 49ers passed on Foster and he wound up with the Saints, somehow stayed out of trouble and been playing the way he was last season, you'd be saying the exact same thing about them having not drafted him.

When teams take a chance on troubled players and it works, they look like geniuses, like Clark in Seattle and Hill in KC. When it doesn't, it looks ugly, like this.

Hopefully moving forwards this team stops rolling the dice on these types and continues what they did in this latest draft with guys like McGlinchey and Warner. Smart, high leadership quality players with zero character concerns.

This rebuild has been a total disaster. We're at least four years away from being a barely competitive team.

Yeah, they really have to hit on all 5 picks.

We are going to have to be very aggressive in free agency & the draft no doubt. Hopefully we can make these defenders progress this offseason & not regress like they did this summer

I'm expecting a few tradedowns, particularly if they don't have the #1 pick, or even if they do and there is a QB needy team at #2.

F this GD team. They keep hiring and drafting losers. I follow them through shty seasons hoping they will draft some good players to straighten the ship, and what do we get? Bozos like Foster and backups like Solomon Thomas taken #3. And look at all the crappy FAs they've brought in Malcolm Smith? And Lynch gives away one of the best pass protecting OTs in the league for basically nothing. Jimmy is going to get killed next year right quick when Gary Gilliam is our starting LT.

I think York hired him for precisely this reason. Jed was tired of being the spokesperson and getting hammered by the media and fans, so he gets a charismatic figurehead.

Gotta love the NT over reactions. Always good for a laugh.

this is not unusual under the York ownership
I'm sure he'll do his due dilligence to fill the void left by foster , meaning sign more mediocre players to fat contracts like he always does
