i am sure he will. of course we will hear he "pursued "people and then his peeps will cling to that to try to show us he is doing something

I'm pretty sure something significant happened on the last trade deadline!
Yeah Belichick called us and gifted KS Jimmy.

That's an outlier not something you can expect.

except the foundation for that trade was already in place since lynch had already called for Brady and garropalo before the season started. You must have accidentally forget to put that part in.

*Patriots agree to trade Jimmy G to the Niners*

"We just got EXTREMELY lucky. Dude practically fell out of the sky and into our laps. Lynch and Kyle deserve no credit for this."

*Raiders don't agree to trade Mack to the Niners*

"This is Lynch's fault. Dude should have been more aggressive. No matter how much the Raiders refused to trade him across the Bay, we should have done everything and then some. This is all on Lynch and Kyle for not getting it done."

So did a 1/4 of the league. Bill picked this team because he like KS but also because we were in the NFC and a team that he's only played a small handful of times in the last 20 years.

Hahahah SO TRUE!!

And yeah, of course it's an outlier. Most teams don't make a trade before the trade deadline. That just usually doesn't happen. There were 5 real trades at last year's trade deadline and that was the most crazy active trade deadline in NFL history hahah. Usually there's a small chance there's more than 1 or 2 trades

Part of that anger extends to their poor drafting in April when they skipped over prospects like Josh Sweat in favor of an ACL pick Kentavious Street.

First of all, what has Josh Sweat done?

Second of all, that doesn't justify blaming Lynch for a decision the Raiders consciously made.

maaaan, come on dude. He'd be so much better than Marsh here, it wouldn't even be funny.

I don't know whats up with him at the Eagles, but its probably because they have an elite defensive line similar to the Broncos. Probably not getting playing time.

That Street pick better be worth it.

Exactly right. This doesn't fit the narrative of such posters, though. Some people don't want to admit that Lynch is well connected throughout the league and does a great job of keeping the lines of communication open with teams. Nice to have a GM that is like that...in addition to him being a SB winner, a near Hall of Famer, and someone who knows the game of football as well as anyone on the planet.

if you listen to some... street was the BEST pick we could have made... allegedly there was NO ONE in that spot we could have picked that could have helped us in ANY area

Lynch has a fetish for run stopping DEs
Aslong as there's a clear plan and we continue moving forward I'm good. Soooo....I'm good.
I was excited when the Niners named Lynch as GM but also a little skeptical. He obviously knows football but with no experience as a GM you have to be willing to go through a learning curve. Mistakes are made even by the most experienced GM's. I remember when Eddie D hired Joe Thomas who had a good track record. All he did was trade for a washed up OJ giving up draft picks that set us back. Then you bring in Bill Walsh and Carmen Policy who had no experience running a pro team and we all know what happened. The point is, there is no sure fire way to hire someone to run a team. Experienced guys can screw up a team just as fast as someone with no experience at all. Let's hope that Lynch will become the Walsh/Policy guy and not Joe Thomas.
