Convinced #49ers planned all of this out ahead of time.

Fake Jimmy G ACL. Tank. Get No. 1 pick (Justin Herbert).
Trade No. 1 pick to Vegas #Raiders for 4 future first-rounders (Khalil Mack picks). Trade Beathard to #Giants for 3 future firsts. Keep Jimmy G.
Profit.

We need a 2nd.
If your team needs a TE in 2019, you're in luck. This draft class is going to be phenomenal. Noah Fant, Albert Okwuegbunam, Irv Smith, Kaden Smith, Dawson Knox, and Caleb Wilson. The list goes on. All will be productive pros.

49ers Get
- Von Miller
- Broncos 2019 1st (between 8-10)
Broncos get
- 9ers 1st (assuming its #1 & Herbert declares)
- 49ers 2nd rounder (pick 33)
Not sure I would
I would in a heart beat this is exactly what I think could see happening. If the broncos continue to lose this could happen before the trade deadline. He would be a perfect fit for our scheme. Just hope that they could figure a way to make this work? You never know

Mack is also 3 yrs younger....Miller has cap hits at around $25 million per starting next yr, thats freaking wild.

I don't think this would happen before the deadline...they have no idea where either team would be picking.

I've admired VM for years and I'd have zero problem acquiring him. My ignorance is showing: isn't VM a weakside LB who rushes on passing downs? How's that work in Saleh's scheme? What about Reuben, our WILL?

I think he will. Playing mostert so much last night shows you how much Kyle wants speed in the back field. I think he will be cool going with McKinnon and Breida next season.
Yeah I doubt hes going anywhere. Kyle couldn't even stand up when talking about Jet cause he was sporting wood.

Except the plan was to go get cousins in FA. Ya'll would have yelled bust all last season when Mahomes sat the bench behind Hoyer for a yr lol.
Exactly. We went into the draft with a predetermined plan rather than an open mind. That's how you miss out. That is exactly the mistake they made.
getting a franchise QB like Jimmy isn't a mistake. Get over it man.
Never said Jimmy was a mistake.

So can we agree that McGlinchey pick was a home run?
I know it feels like a big let down that Solomon appears like a bust considering he was #3 overall but overall this regime has drafted well. Part of the problem is that we were lacking so much in talent that there's no room for error when drafting but we know no GM has a 100% hit rate!
Promising picks in no specific order
1)CJ beathard - good back up QB, continuing to improve w/ Shanahan - perhaps trade bait in offseason??
2)Brieda - not a 3 down workhorse but is top 10 in terms of yards
3)George Kittle - looks like a true weapon
4)Fred Warner
5)Reuben Foster
6)T Taylor
Too early to tell
1) Pettis
2) Tarvarius Moore
3) K Street
4) Jullian Taylor
?Bust
1) Colbert
2) Akhello Witherspoon
3) Joe Williams - def bust
4) Pita T
Impact free agent acquisitions
1) Jimmy G
2) Kyle Jusyxk
3) Sherman
4) Goodwin
5) Tomlinson
6) Richburg
If you look at the big picture - Lynchahan have done a solid job of adding talent but we were so talent deprived that even 2 years weren't enough. Winning 5 in a row last year scewed our perception and hid a lot of deficiencies of this roster - similar to how Aaron Rodgers covers up GB's shortcomings.
Arrow is still pointing up w/ this upcoming offseason being very crucial....

Meh not really lol...I mean I'm not gonna hate on the thought of getting Miller. I really think Bosa is the real deal and if they're in a spot to take him, not have to pay $25 million per yr for a non QB, and keep our 2nd I'm going that direction.
