Trading a franchise QB who played like an absolute badass for us and then signing him to a massive extension... Umm.. That'd be any franchises biggest move. You can't really top that.

Yea they "said" they "say" they make an offer on everyone and it never gets done. So it's obv they aren't being aggressive. He said they are gonna be aggressively prudent. In other words gonna look but not take any chances or risks. And that is exactly what they have done. Would you not agree? Every move they make is low risk. Even the jimmy g move.

Nope. They got McKinnon, Juice, Richard Sherman, Richburg (4 super sought after free agents including 3 pro bowlers and an all-pro) and brought in another 15+ free agents in 2 years. They traded up for Reuben Foster and Pettis. They've been a super aggressive franchise and turned over our entire roster in 2 years. Definitely one of the most aggressive Front Offices in the league so far in my opinion.

They've had the flexibility of a crap roster and a sh** ton of cash to make that happen. They need to start getting a bit more conservative if anything.. our cap space is gonna get much tighter once Buckner gets extended.

Exactly. We went into the draft with a predetermined plan rather than an open mind. That's how you miss out. That is exactly the mistake they made.

getting a franchise QB like Jimmy isn't a mistake. Get over it man.

People act like Mahomes would be having the same success here in SF. Kansas City has superior skill players at the moment with Andy Reid.

If you look at the big picture - Lynchahan have done a solid job of adding talent but we were so talent deprived that even 2 years weren't enough. Winning 5 in a row last year scewed our perception and hid a lot of deficiencies of this roster - similar to how Aaron Rodgers covers up GB's shortcomings.

Arrow is still pointing up w/ this upcoming offseason being very crucial....

Add Mike Person & Robbie Gould to the free agent acquisitions. You've got a lot of Pro Bowl / potential Pro Bowlers on this roster that just didn't exist before. It's super impressive in just 2 years. Our O-line is looking studly after being absolutely terrible in 2016.

Our D-Line is an edge rusher away also. Could you imagine if we lost that last game in 2016? We would've had Myles Garrett instead of Solomon. This list and our defense would look so much better with that guy looking like an absolute all-pro.

I'm in the middle but the fact that Miller is 29 puts me over the edge. I think I'd take the #1 pick with our 2nd. If we're making the trade before the trade deadline and we're not sure where we'll end up.. i'll take Von Miller without a doubt.

That'd be nice if that was the case. But, huge risk on 1) being inn position to get him and 2) him ever becoming dominant.

That said, ER typically does translate well.
