I don't agree. Another example. Sherman signing. Extremely aggresive. That aggressive move paid off as he is clearly our best player in the secondary and was very risky move for Lynch since he was coming off the injury. If he was conservative like you say, Sherman wouldn't be on this team.

Once again low risk. He don't play he don't get paid. Doesn't really get any more low risk. I guess we just disagree. Aggressive would of been take a chance on a young player like A.J. bouye last offeseason. Dishing out a huge deal on a young player.

McKinnon signing by far the biggest chance he has taken in 2 years.

Hoping that pays off when he comes back. I think we just agree to disagree for the other stuff. No worries.

Same here. I just hate to sit back and play the long game every offseason like Green Bay has for years. Rodgers has been to 1 super bowl with that thinking. It's almoat a crime when you think about it.

I still wonder if he gets a 2nd year. We overpaid for a athletic freak who's now coming back from a serious knee injury. His contract was designed to give us an out after year 1. Especially with Tevin Coleman and Le'Veon Bell available in FA.

I think he will. Playing mostert so much last night shows you how much Kyle wants speed in the back field. I think he will be cool going with McKinnon and Breida next season.

Those other two picks - I don't care about as much. But, we needed a QB badly in 2017 draft and we missed out on Mahomes. That's a major mistake. Having an excellent QB on a rookie contract is a game changer.

Except the plan was to go get cousins in FA. Ya'll would have yelled bust all last season when Mahomes sat the bench behind Hoyer for a yr lol.

Exactly. We went into the draft with a predetermined plan rather than an open mind. That's how you miss out. That is exactly the mistake they made.

getting a franchise QB like Jimmy isn't a mistake. Get over it man.

People act like Mahomes would be having the same success here in SF. Kansas City has superior skill players at the moment with Andy Reid.
Would you?

Not sure I would

My same rule applies. I'll take a proven NFL commodity any day over a draft pick which, at best, is 50/50. Especially when that player plays the most important position on defense and the ripple effect it can have on the entire defense. Yes to Mack, er, Miller.

Instead of our 2nd I'll do our 3rd

Why have people been predicting some sort of Miller trade to us for the past couple months lol

Von Miller is the kind of player you don't trade.

He is throwing for 40 more yards per game than Alex Smith last year and the team is scoring 10 more PPG than they scored last year.
That's legit and he would have spent only a few games behind Hoyer on the bench.

This - getting a FQB such as Garoppolo is an incredible win. And then, getting him signed long term made it just that much better.
