its not like we can beat the panthers so im ok with a short week against them
When talking about the Rams, most were saying they are on their way up. We blow them out and no one mentions that we could possibly be good. They only conclude that the Rams are actually now real bad...which contradicts their original assessment which questions their credibility.

The RAMS are terrible, they were 7 and 9 last year with a better QB. They have NO QB this year and their O Line is trash. Beating the Rams 28-0 is surprising, beating the RAMS isn't. The Rams SUCK. 49ers will end up going 5-11. Remember last year? They beat a much better Vikings Team on opening night at home too with the Most hated QB of all time at the helm.

My take on it. Rams don't even have an NFL caliber QB and a god awful line. I wouldn't read too much into this win. We also looked pretty good last year in game 1.

I think the D will be pretty solid, but the O is simply not good enough.

It still doesn't change the fact that the Rams have a solid defense and we were able to put 4 TDs on them. Prior to the game, I thought we would go 1, maybe 2 touchdowns and 2 or 3 FGs if we won in scoring no more than 20 points but struggling.

I don't think our offense struggled very much against them. It did seem like we were holding back a little at times.

everyone was supposed to be better than us. we had the worst talent and roster in the nfl. blah blah blah. for this young team in this new system. i read alot into it. no matter what happens next weekend. the team will always give a great effort and our coaches will have them ready and not play scared. that may not show up in quik stats but it is a very important part of the rebuilding process

Still bottom three according to Russillo. Still worse than the Rams? How is that?

Rams do not really have a Solid Defense they are ranked 23rd in the League. The Patriots would have had 60 points on them.

looks like we will get to see that 60 pts game this year
The Rams are not a good team, but they are picked by many to be improved. They were the favorite, we are considered the worst team in the NFL. They have "the best front seven in the NFL" They are supposed to have a great defense, and strong ground game, with a sturdy "game manager"

We stopped their ground game, we made their game manager try to beat us....and exposed him.
We scored 28 points against one of the better defenses in the NFL.

We do not suck, we may not be Super Bowl ready, but we do not suck.

We can score points, and we can stop the run, we do not suck.

Next week, we find out how we play against a team with a freak of nature at QB, this will be a good test, if we can hold them to 17 or under, its a win.

We will score points this season, and Chip will bring in every street free agent until he finds a another wide receiver.

This will be a season of heart ache and jubilation, with out much in-between. So lets enjoy the high this week, and be ready for what ever next sunday brings!

Go Niners!
If the Rams win then we are tied for 1st place. No suck!
Just as I expected beat the Lambs N then lose to

Carolina
Seattle
Cowboys
Cardinals

Shoot I think we will also lose to Buffalo Shady is gonna tear us a new Ass hole since our run D is putrid.

1-5 coming soon.
Man, oh man, I am trying to stay up beat, but todays beatdown was a heart breaker! My guesses as to Kelly's abilities, and the my thoughts on the rest of the staff, might be way off base, or maybe things will gel by mid season, and we rip off a few wins to build on for next year, but right now....we suck!

Bump
Still think this team is better than the results show.

At times during games we look capable of competing against decent teams, and at other times we look trash.

We just need some consistency... Played well against the Cowboys & should have beaten them imo.
