The info starting to trickle in for new CS just reflects so much more competence than was there with Ron Jeremy.

It would be nice to see Chip bring on minorty assistant coaches JUST because they are good coaches. Give that opportunity like Harbs and Jim T did. The opportunity is important and the "conscious" (veterans) players will feed off that, and will run harder through the wall for the team.

DL coach Jerry Azzinaro, QB coach Ryan Day and WR coach Bob Bicknell are already expected to follow Chip Kelly to the 49ers.
Very nice start from my understanding.
Obviously a lot can change and we need to see who we land as DC. But this just made me think about how painful this time was last year with Tomsula trying to assemble a staff
That's the problem with guys like Chip and Tomsula...they don't have many, if any real NFL connections. The staff alone, can make or break any HC.
The fact that he's already replacing Brown as the DL coach may or may not be a sign the DC and rest of staff, may change too.
Stay tuned...
Stay optimistic, the staff building is still in its infancy.
Very much so!

The contradiction you assuming needs to be clarified. I'm not saying bring in minority coaches just because they are minorities. Bring them in because they are good coaches. There's many good minority coaches on the waiting list for opportunity, just waiting....

I don't care about a coaches color, just get the best ones in the building.

What? Why don't you make a statement with something to back it up? I'm effing tired of this minority card. I see it in tech, sports, everywhere.
The best rise to the top. The top NBA players are black because they're the best. If I want to change that then I need to DO SOMETHING about it.
Not post on a forum that there should be more white players in the starting lineup.
Be the change you want to see.
