Just because u didnt like Alex and u like kap doesn't mean we are going to get more value for kap than we did with Alex.. We traded alex at the perfect time, he came off a career year and all arrows pointed up. Kap came off a year low, got benched for a bad qb and had a injury.
Stop thinking emotionally and think logically. Their is many more years of nfl play from both qbs for you to find out whose better for your little argument between these 2 qbs. But as it stands, we more than likely will not get as much as we got for Alex. This is one of the few cases that I hope ill be wrong, but everything's saying that I won't be
Lol there ya go putting words into my mouth again....were did I say I didn't like Alex and I liked Kap?? Please tell me...
I'm so far from emotionally attached to Kap. The market is what sets up his worth along with play. so he had a bad year with a horrible coaching staff? There are a ton of teams that need a QB and there is zero in FA and not much in the draft.
When u dumb down what we got for Alex saying "Alex sucked for 5+ years and we got two 2nds for him" implys something because it sure isnt implying logic. We didnt get rid of Alex after 5 sucking years. We got rid of him after a 13-3 season and he was then quarterbacking a team favored to go to the Super Bowl until he got injured. He didnt play another snap until he was traded. He was at the peak of his trade level.
So for you to acknowledge kap for his "appearances" In the playoffs but neglect his bad year, but then to acknowledge smiths bad years but neglect his good years, pretty much implys what your feeling.
If we traded kap at the end of 2013 we would have gotten a kings ransom. Now after whats happened we are lucky to get a single 2nd rounder. Kap regressed, and a trade is all about what have they done lately. U dont trade for randy moss expecting what he did when he was 27. You trade for what they are now. So we traded alex for what he was then, we are now trading kap for what he is now, not what he did or was.
