Lynch – Star in the making Ellington on KO Patton – he gets open and now he's getting the ball thrown to him The BAD: Pinnion is Hot & Cold – I think he'll get a lot better The UGLY:

The Good Gabby and the secondary, and Bowman. Bad is Simpson and the other drops by Torrey and Vance.
Ugly is our Right side Oline...

I thought it Ugly that Carradine is benched. Heck, put him in to rush the passer. If he isnt cutting it inside, put him on the edge and see how he plays. Tank is in the doghouse bigtime

Wonder why our run defense was so stout all of a sudden. Was Tank that undisciplined in keeping his gap or is he just not a hold your gap DLmen?

I liked Gabberts mentality out there. Kid was fired up and looked like a gamer. Just one game obviously, but I pray this is a big turnaround for Gabbert. It would be a PHENOMENAL help to us if he's turned a corner and is now a legitimate starting QB. That'd give us a lot of options going forward. Think about it.

We'll have plenty more games to see what he's made of now.

I'm not knocking the guy, he played really well and made some throws we haven't seen from Kaepernick, but I'm not asking if he can get hit in the mouth or not. That's never been the problem. I'm liking Gabbert but he didn't really get hit on that play. The DL ended up putting his paws on Gabbert's chest which wouldn't have knocked him down. The reason he fell down was because he tripped over a DL that fell behind him.

But still, he threw more completions after the big second half hit.

Loved his emotion coming back into the huddle. He was amped and showed it to his teammates in the huddle.

There's no way he knew he wasn't going to get hit on that play, imo. He stepped into the hit to make the throw, and the DL let up on him. He didn't have to, but he did. Still sows the contact courage you need from a QB in that scenario. Will he do it every time? probably not. Will he do it enough? Hell, I don't know, but let's see.

we need someone to kick the ball out the end zone on kickoffs. If we play like this in two weeks Lockett will hv a field day.

I would love to see the goalpost cam or from behind the QB. Considering that the LB opened his hips to his left, I want to believe that Gabbert looked him off and then went to the TE. If that's that case, then call me impressed. If not, then it was a simple one read timing play. However, he still hit his top, hitched and let it rip.
