Say what you want about Bush, but this one was really unfortunate and not acceptable in the NFL today: 49ers fear a torn ACL for Reggie Bush, source says. This after he slipped on the concrete there in St. Louis. That has to be addressed.

Bad break for him, but if his ass doesn't run 10 yards backwards & all the way across the field he wouldn't have hit the damn wall.

Really nice post phoenix... really nice. A great summary of what has to happen. Now, how could one go about that...Eddie D, maybe, whispering into jed's ear. Short of that, i don't see it happening...yet that is indeed, the answer.
Some people on here act surprised like we actually had a fighting chance to win this game. No Hyde No Boldin & a incompetent QB along with coaching staff is a recipe for disaster. Hopefully this leads to a eventual change at QB, firing this whole entire coaching staff & also the firing of Trent Baalke as well.

Ohh yeah am i the only one that is glad Reggie Bush is out for the year, i mean this dude is a freaking joke even the few times he was healthy he has not help out
this offense one bit. Glad this project is over. Good job once again Baalke with your great acquisitions this off season.

Wait nobody was fired for this already?
meanwhile D. Carr across the bay is killing it! Raiders look formidable as we fall from grace.

Putting money on RAMS to hit that spread.

f**k the 49ers.. no reason to follow this organization

Go Warriors, Go Sharks, Go Giants, Go A'S (go quakes? lol)

No reason to follow? then GTFO.

Tavon Austin + Jared Cook just sitting on the waiver.. they came through huge today.

The spread wasn't even close..

No, i think i'm happy checking in regularly to make sure this organization's dysfunction remains intact. I'll be here to cash in, again.

SF is very attractive. Most HC gigs are enticing, but when you look at our history and location, that helps. Mainly though, we have tons of cap space, some talent on the roster, a very high draft pick which will probably be a QB. A rookie QB can great for a new HC. He's handcuffed to the pick and it usually buys him a couple years.

Most likely though, we hire the female WR coach in Arizone to be our OC. Win with class!!

It used to be. What happened with Adam Gase this offseason and other attractive assistant coaches? They used the Niners to get bigger better deals elsewhere. The Yorks are going to have to either seriously overpay or hire someone new to rebuild the franchise so they can fade into the background before any coach with talent comes here.

That is the issue. Jed, John, Denise.....they have to agree to a more hands-off policy and trust someone with NFL credibility and experience building a team to run the football operations and not interfere with them. That is the only way this team is going to build a consistent long-term winner.

If they don't, well, you have Cohan's Warriors basically.

I second this motion.

F da Yorks. Just sell the team to someone who knows and loves football. PLEASE

How many times do you think those girls visit the VD clinic on an annual basis. Something about them other than the giant inflatable dick that sets the whore-dar off the charts.

I'd play with them..

Better everything?

Let's make a list:

1. Ownership - I wish
2. Head coach
3. Offensive coordinator
4. Defensive coordinator
5. General Manager
6. Quarterback
7. Backup running back
8. Offensive Tackle (Anthony Davis next year)
9. Offensive Guard (Maybe Thomas)
10. Two pass rushing defensive ends
11. Outside linebacker
12. Two inside linebackers
13. One cornerback
14. Free Safety

What are we ok with?

1. Running back (Carlos Hyde)
2. Full back (Bruce Miller)
3. Nose Tackle (Glen Dorsey/Ian Williams)
4. Strong safety (J. Tarrt)
5. Outside Linebacker (Aaron Lynch)
6. Left Tackle (Joe Staley)
7. Left Guard (Alex Boone)
8. Tight End (Garrett Celek)

We need a whole new coaching staff and lots of changes on both sides of the ball.

I predict we draft Top 5 this year. We rank almost or last on offense and defense this year
about right.. but it will take time to do all that and make it function. Will the Yorks even try? Probably not.
Why don't we raise the money to buy the 49ers? They are worth $1.2 billion. I think an offer of $1.4 billion gets it done.

1.4 million 9er fans can donate $1,000 each. We all own a percentage. It could basically function like the Packers organization where a board is chosen to make football and business decisions. And we would all still have equity. And a vote.

Is this even possible??

Nope.
Wait another year and they won't be worth $1.2 billion.
