Denying the Hayne Plane clearance for
Take-off is like denying a B52 clearance to take off. Denying Apollo11 permission to launch. Denying Fiddy cent permission to bust a rhyme.
It's un-American, godammit.

He's the best news of the off season from a PR and playing standpoint. There will be many 38 Jerseys at Levi Stadium. He not only makes the 53 man roster but contributes on game day.

People who doubted the very existence of a divine being will now be following the Outback Jesus.

I believe this is an NRL shoulder charge, right? I know this was not a punt return, but I would bet good money that there is not another punt returner in the league that could truck a defender like this.

At worst, we're a 5-6 win team. Most likely, we wind up being very mediocre. I think Hayne will stick around, because the team is more inclined to include project players on the roster this year.
This has to be taken into account. It is a business as well, and the Hayne business is very good right now. What is not to like? He is a good looking, well spoken, nicely mannered, polished professional. He has made the San Francisco 49ers a household name for an entire country that are on a whole, just getting introduced to the sport. And he has incredible skill. As good as he has been, I think it is a tip of the iceberg situation. Once he really starts to feel comfortable in this game he could be dominant. This is the very definition of a win/win situation for the 49ers.
Let me make an analogy: suppose this was the 2013 49ers team (easily one of the best teams in football entering the season, a legitimate Super Bowl contender, etc). For the 2013 team, I think Jerome Simpson would've made the cut over DeAndrew White, because he could've been a meaningful role player. For the 2015 49ers, I think DeAndrew White makes more sense than Jerome Simpson, because he offers potential long-term value. I think for the current state of the franchise, it makes sense to favor upside a little more than current value, so I think guys like White, Hayne, etc will make the team.

THIS!
