Offenses aren't just QB vs defense. Have the QBs you're mentioning been pressured on more than half their dropbacks? You know the o line has to perform too. You'll learn as the season goes on.

If you go back and read what I was saying it was about Alex Smith and Bradford getting more attempts in one game than Kap has had in 3.

It didn't make sense to me that they only played 5 snaps in the first game. Jim Toms excuse was he took Staley out so Kap was coming out. Then he changes the OL around to "try and figure some thing out, and all that stuff" and has Kap standing back there getting smashed because he can't change the call in the last game?

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

So showing alex the greats last game and Kaps awful preseason with a big LOL gradually turns into that mess of a post. Hahahahahha youre a good guy.

You really expect me to think that showing us Smiths great game, and pointing out Bradfords success despite being in a new system, somehow means that you're confused about why they would shuffle the OL and get Kap smashed because he couldn't change the call? Way to make any sense lmfao

Buffalo just racked up 500+ yards of offense against the Steelers. What are the odds that 1) Buffalo beats Pitt in a game that matters and 2) the stats would be that lopsided.

My point was that Kaps 13 pass attempts in 3 games is not enough to get him ready for the regular season. Doesn't help with game speed with his receivers. Doesn't help his pocket awareness. Changing the OL every game doesn't help. 2 guys touch the ball every play, the C and QB. None of it helps. Not sure why you don't understand that?

Now there is talk he will play in the 4th pre season games with the starting OL is silly. No starters play in the final game. Yet for some reason these coaches want to do in the 4th game what they should have done in the third game. None of it makes sense to me, that's all.

Looking at our offense, and listening to the coach, GM, and ownership, I don't think our offense will be dramatically different than last season. we will move with more tempo from huddle to snap, but we will run between the tackles, and grind out yards. The difference I am HOPING for, is on third downs, and in the red zone. More screens, more edge rushing, spreading the defense horizontally, and hopefully converting more third down, and red zone opportunities.

I'm liking the quicker pace and smoother cadence ....last year's tempo was slow and bumpy , and the cadence was choppy and never allowed the offense to find a rhythm and smooth flow , I'm glad that is being cleaned up at least

I agree, I was harping on that string all last season, Kaep is a pretty good QB, when he breaks the huddle and has 15-20 seconds at the LOS, but he was awful with less than 12.
