It's official. Our offense hasn't crossed the end line since second quarter of our opener against Houston. How do you feel about it? It's preseason, who cares? or a harbinger of things to come?

Oh, coach didn't advise me that they were changing their offense to be more aggressive and put up a lot of points in a meaningless glorified practice session.

I think it's a problem. Just like the other problem was obvious: the OLine.

The notion that all the "great/secret" plays are saved for the regular season is all crap. So what are these starters doing on the field for over 2 quarters? for all the other teams as well. Just hang out there and wing it?...and see if we can score. I think there is a game plan, which usually fails during execution...for whatever reasons.

Oh come on. Nobody shows their full hand in preseason. It isn't just the Niners. What they're looking at, whether it's the 1's or the 4's, is how individuals perform their assignments. They're not game-planning and hardly anyone does game plan in the preseason.

But I agree that the offense is a concern and everyone knows why it's a concern.

Did someone already mention that Peyton Manning has not thrown a touchdown in the preseason this year? Cause I haven't double-checked (on my phone), but I'm pretty sure he hasn't.

It didn't make sense to me that they only played 5 snaps in the first game. Jim Toms excuse was he took Staley out so Kap was coming out. Then he changes the OL around to "try and figure some thing out, and all that stuff" and has Kap standing back there getting smashed because he can't change the call in the last game?

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

So showing alex the greats last game and Kaps awful preseason with a big LOL gradually turns into that mess of a post. Hahahahahha youre a good guy.

Agreed. I'm assuming that's what Jimmy T's staff has been doing. Hopefully, some lessons have been imparted, such as "This is what happens if you don't call the audible in that situation."

Somewhat. Obviously I'd rather see us perform well and score TDs, but I've never put much stock in pre-season.

The o-line has me worried. If there is one thing I'm almost certain will carry over to the regular season is the inability to pass-block, particularly the right side. I'm sorry but Devey and Pears just don't do it for me. We're asking for trouble.

. if anyone says they're not concerned they're either liars or homers. the offense has looked straight up TERRIBLE! Offense of a 1-15 team.
