Should Levi's go to artificial turf?

The reason the grass is messed up is because they keep hosting all these off season events at Levi's thats is messing up the grass.

Yes you are right, he's so cheap that he won't protect his billion dollar investment by hireing the best landscapers he can find...... Not. Keep telling people your not a troll, its kinda fun to watch sometimes.

Mother nature will humiliate you if dont know how to work with her. Jed, and whomever his gut told him was right for the job, dont know how to make this work.
Ive seen a few really nice grass fields in nor cal that had great feel and function for cleated athletes, and great long-term durability. One was the best by far, and it was put in by a professional, out-of-state firm specializing in performance/durability grass.
They knew how to integrate their base materials into mother earth at the location, and had their grass engineered for abuse.

Imo, they are putting on way to many events. If the grass doesn't have time to take root how can it stand up to everything else. Its just all bad. I'm not the expert though. But just use common sense, do you honestly believe jed wouldn't do all he could to get the field into shape. He has plenty to lose and nothing to gain.

it is pathetic we should even be having this discussion a year after they had to deal with the VERY same issues the team dealt with yesterday. i guess ck or torey smith blowing out a knee will make them ask but by then gabbert would be our qb so there would be no point. my god , my god, i NEVER thought as part of a team camp report on the first day i would have to hear about turf issues

i do not think it is a cheap thing although i would expect as much from you. but of course the people in charge need to be held accountable for this

No, I believe turf causes more injures than grass

Lol i knew they'd have problems with the grass again. I cant believe the stupid problems they have with that new stadium. Its friggin ridiculous.
