Does his injury clause cover brain spasms incurred off the field? Just curious to know if we can could be on the hook for mental defects he didn't have before joining the team? Because he looked like he was not thinking well against GB. And if he thinks improving his mechanics and studying hard aren't important at this point, he has gone full potato on us.

Just goes to show can't tell with Kaep from practice to game
the offensive line was much better with gabbert in there instead of slow read ck. have you seen those nice pockets in the last two weeks for gabbert and for ponder
The line gave Kaep some nice pockets and fair times too. He just needs to calm his tits a bit and make quicker reads.
On the WR screen pass to White, I think the DL made a nice play. On the attempted slant pass, I think TBrown has to do a better job of engaging his man. It was a 3 step concept so the ball is coming out fast. Some OT are asked to chop the DL down to force the DL to bring his arms down, preventing a blocked pass. If you watch the play, TBrown never engages his man and the pass was easily batted down. The OL pass pro has been night and day from last season.

Only thing that matters is the fact he just lost th QB competition. Football is not about Colin Kaepernicks ego. Virtue signaling only succeeds when people pay attention to it.
The only thing I should pay attention to is his horrid play on the field. I don't care if Kaepernick thinks 9-11 was an inside job. I don't care if he thinks aliens killed Kennedy. What I care about is Chip Kelly putting the best QB we have on the field while the other shuts up and does his job as back-up.
I care about football and do not want to see lame politics infused with the game.

Yup. That's why he should be cut. His play in the field is awful, the rest us a distraction.

Hard to when Kap himself isn't.
Don't let him have his way. This is not about Kaepernick and his lame ego/politics/virtue signaling.
The 49ers are about football. He just lost a QB competition to Blaine Gabbert. Do not let Kaepernick turn this into a cicus. Refuse to play along.
Agree 100 percent , he a distraction at this point, time to cut ties
Circus Vargus 49ers.

Impossible to insure stupidity. Although, you can probably get government to subsidized just about anything.

I have read some here have said maybe they intentionally block better for Gabbert. I don't see the effort was worse with Kaep.
I am sure it wasn't intentional, but the blocking did look crisper to me when Gabs was in there. Maybe they play better when they have more confidence about who they are blocking for.

Here's an oddity from an article linked to on the front page of the Webzone:
http://www.49erswebzone.com/news/96740-49ers-offensive-line-linebackers-grade-well-against-packers/
This is in reference to the PFF grades for various positions in the third preseason game:
Sometimes PFF grades are hard to fathom. I know they would never divulge the information, but I'd like to see the details on each play on why the quarterbacks ended up with grades they did.

This is in reference to the PFF grades for various positions in the third preseason game:
How did the 49ers quarterbacks do? Blaine Gabbert graded at 49.4 while Colin Kaepernick surprisingly graded higher at 60. Gabbert was part of the team's only touchdown drive of the night, but Abbott points out that the actual score was a lateral to WR Quinton Patton, so it didn't factor much into his overall grade.

Hes protesting the wrong thing, like an idiot. Its an insult to all the black people serving in the military and fighting for that same flag.
Hey Kap, protest against racists, not this country you numbskull.

Lmao. Hilarious. Clearly PFF can't quantify the most important aspect of being a QB...finding the open receiver and not passing into triple coverages.

Nessa probably made him set it free. Probably withered and died like his career.

This in essence saids that Chip Kelly is WRONG. ITS NOT ABOUT SCORING POINTS.
Kaep played the qb position just fine. Chip should leave him alone and not force his offense on Kaep
