http://www.49erswebzone.com/news/96740-49ers-offensive-line-linebackers-grade-well-against-packers/

This is in reference to the PFF grades for various positions in the third preseason game:

How did the 49ers quarterbacks do? Blaine Gabbert graded at 49.4 while Colin Kaepernick surprisingly graded higher at 60. Gabbert was part of the team's only touchdown drive of the night, but Abbott points out that the actual score was a lateral to WR Quinton Patton, so it didn't factor much into his overall grade.

Sometimes PFF grades are hard to fathom. I know they would never divulge the information, but I'd like to see the details on each play on why the quarterbacks ended up with grades they did.

Lmao. Hilarious. Clearly PFF can't quantify the most important aspect of being a QB...finding the open receiver and not passing into triple coverages.

Because they hate the 9ers, and want Kap to start to hurt the team.
So is there only 1 person left in his fan club?

You have to be blind to not know who it is.
I would try to type 'Kaep' but my auto-correction kept switching to 'Krap' lately.

Anyone else have that problem.

lol.... there is still a realistic chance many of yall will have to root for Kap this year.

If yall don't think there is a chance Kaepernick starts again this year, then yall are more naive than I thought.

Anyone who has followed Chip's coaching career knows he has no issues changing QBs back and fourth.

Hoping Gabbert plays his ass off if he is named starter (because I don't have anything personal against him, unlike some of yall with Kap), but there is still a chance some of yall will be rooting for Kaepernick...atleast the real 9er fans... while the others will be turning up the hate...lol.

Same thing if Kaepernick was named the starter....it's good to have 2 QBs now a days.

Hes protesting the wrong thing, like an idiot. Its an insult to all the black people serving in the military and fighting for that same flag.

Hey Kap, protest against racists, not this country you numbskull.

I agree with the bold, but I think the importent piece is that Randy Cross thinks Kaepernick is a better social activist than he is a quarterback. If that's true, it doesn't say much about his skills as a quarterback.

I have no problem with Kaepernick expressing his opinions on racial issues or taking a stand. I think his position can help bring a lot of extra light to it and additional much-needed discourse. But, if he wants to be a champion for social issues, he needs to get his head on straight and do his job on the field well. 20 years from now, no one will remember him for taking a stand if he's sitting on the bench. He needs to be the dynamic athlete that lit up the league in 2012, and he needs to pick the timing of his protests better.

As it is, his play on the field will have him relegated to a back-up role or off the team, which won't do much for his social concerns.

Im still a kap fan. I was also the last alex smith fan standing. I dont understand why people in this fan base are so quick to turn on players who are struggling. I hope kap proves all you wrong, the same way that alex did.

Kaep played the qb position just fine. Chip should leave him alone and not force his offense on Kaep

no. ck does not play the position just fine and has not going back to the second half of the 8-8 season

in my opinion. based upon the entire pre season including camp and the game vs green bay.. the sand in his glass is running out fast
Why is this thread still open? Hasn't everyone already taken their shots. It's become the I hate Kaepernick thread. There is absolutely nothing more productive to converse about.

I like your team approach. But in this case even if CK plays great, it's too little too late. And if he makes the team and comes in off the bench, he'll be cold and who knows where his body, mind and focus would be. I'd be mildly surprised if he even made the team at this point.

Ive said it alot in this thread that i believed kaepernick was better than gabbert, but after that whole not standing during our national anthem BS... I dgaf if your Tom Brady, I dont want you quarterbacking for my team..

And for anyone who hates on me for thinking that way, As some other people said earlier in this thread, that sh*t would not fly in Texas since there patriotism is through the roof.
