Colin Kaepernick Thread

People who hate Kaepernick seem to rewrite history a ton. Like the idea that Kap was carried by our defense in 2012 is an absolute joke. Our defense was horrendous down the stretch and through the playoffs in 2012. The only reason we made the Superbowl was because of Kaepernick.

He has majorly regressed, but that doesnt change what he was.

It kills them to admit Kap carried us because their favorite player has never carried a team at any point in his career lol. All anyone should know is that the 49ers ended up losing and everyone should hate Kap for carrying us to that point, and that their boy ends up losing every year too but nobody should hate him for it.

Hilarious how people are all about diminishing Kap's role during the Harbs era to just a piece of the puzzle. He was THE piece for a good chunk of that time.

People have created this narrative that a team consists of 1 player, the QB and that guy plays on offense, defense and special teams. He's also the coach and the GM. A team consists of many parts. A QB is just one of them. I personally don't want a team where the QB has to carry them because that means the team is s**t.

Even the best QB's need a good team around them. Why Kaep is being bashed for not being able to perform with a bad team is mindboggling. Who says Blaine is the chosen one? Get the crap put of your ears. I was talking about the fact that he did not carry anybody. He was on a far superior team, not just a good one, and when he was, he played ok. Not hall of fame, perpetual pro bowl good, but ok with a couple of great games. But he is not a QB that can "carry his team". How does his jock taste by the way?
