Thats a myth. Gabbert was sacked 9 times against Cleveland. The O-line wasn't better, Gabbert was just a more aware pocket passing QB than Kap.

Tomsula should've never been coach tbh Management sabotaged last season and it was unfair to players and the fans to be treated like they did last year because Baalke couldn't get along with Harbaugh. Worst decision in franchise history to let that man go he brought the 49ers back to being relevant.

This is a man that made Jeff Lurie cancel his annual , and long standing,Christmas party because Kelly felt that practice was more important. This is not a Tomsula type figurehead at the helm anymore, who had Trent down on the field coaching players.

I am not worried at all about this. I am gong to believe Kelly plays his best players, and their pay status may not mean that much to him.

I have my concerns about Kelly, but him putting what he believes to be his best players on the field is not something I spend any time worrying about.

Uh huh, sure. I have my doubts about how all of this plays out. If Chip CHOOSES Kaepernick, and he well may, no issue. But if he doesn't, I don't believe he quietly goes to battle with the guy he doesn't want. Just to appease his GM. Honestly I don't believe Jed gives a crap. He just wants his seats full. Kelly says we will be better off with X behind center than Y and it will fill more seats, Jed boy says ok.

You are being deliberately obtuse. Putting butts in the seats means putting your absolute best product in the field. Kelly will want to do that. If he thinks he will do better with one QB over the other, that is who will play. You think the guy in the seats pays to see Kaepernick over another QB? Horse crap.
