He wants to get away from this reject front office, particularly Baalke, York and Poohrag Maarathe.

Maybe getting away will teach him how to finally go through his progressions, read a defense, fix his footwork, throw against man coverage and not throw the football 100mph to a guy 10 yards away.

It's worth a shot.

Who knows. Won't fix the problems of the FO.

If we don't get any worthy trade offers I would just cut this fool! As much as I like him he has been acting like a reality star celebrity.

You really think this is hard to believe?

Lets go back down memory lane. Kaep signs a very team friendly deal that enables the team to go after players. They get him Torrey Smith, Devey and Pears. Meanwhile, a bunch of players retire. Don't get replaced. I'm sure Kaep felt good about that one.

All the while geting rid of Kaep's HC for a janitor. Said janitor assembles one of the worst 9er teams we've seen in a very long time. Worst line in the league, terrible running game. Kaep continues to get hammered behind the line that Baalke failed to improve. He actually gets hurt. The team tells him he's not hurt and tell shim to keep playing, all the while leaks start popping out of nowhere about Kaep's film study habits, and a bunch of other things that make him look bad. Oh, then Kaep gets a 2nd opinion on one of his 3 injuries and oh, looks like the 9er medical staff were wrong and misdiagnosed his injury and now he's more hurt than he was before. They bench Kaep and oh..more leaks. and they decide to make changes on the line....woah...

After Harbaugh was canned, the organization pretty much dumped Kaep...you have a hard time understanding why he wanted to leave?

Weve only won, one NFC championship game with Kaepernick as the Quarterback.

won 3 playoff games on the road.

With a dominant defense

Kaep blew up on some games making it easier for the defense.

And he has sucked for the last 2 years. He was great but he 8s garbage now. It happens.

The team overall was pretty garbage.
It's pretty obvious there is no communication in this organization. The fact that the 49er medical staff seemed not to know what was gong on is not a hard take. Kap should swallow his pride and play for the 49ers under a coach that can get something out of him. My gut feeling, let him walk, I've seen enough of him to know he can't read defenses, lead a receiver or be the mature face of a franchise.

Exactly. Like we get rid of Kaep, then all of the problems magically go away.

9ers are a bad organization right now. A lot of the fans just don't know it yet.

People still missing the big picture. The actions of this organization over the last 2 years are pathetic. Kelly talking about Kaep coming back just a few hours ago before Kaep saying he wants a trade. That does not happen in competent organizations.

The Chargers were garbage but Rivers played well. Same with the Titans and Mariota and Jags and Bortals.

It doesn't matter if we know it or not, we have to roll with it either way.

So you are telling me he is in just strictly love of the game and not money! He is willing to lose maybe 6 mil to play for another team. You are giving him too much credit. I know it is not all his fault, but he is a big part of it.

Bad organization or not, they aren't going anywhere with Kaepernick. Gabbert played at the same level last season for far less money and he is nothing worth writing home about.

As a first good step forward, they can go out and find a QB of the future this offseason because it isn't Kaepernick or Gabbert. I hope they make a wise choice.

A QB won't solve all of their problems but it would start pushing them in the right direction. The Redskins suddenly looked a lot less dysfunctional with good QB play this season. Kelly deserves to have his own hand-picked guy.

Actually it just might

But, we will burn bridges for QB's, but not hold the organization accountable? We keep going round and round again. When's the last time we developed a QB? We're going to figure it out now? Poor kid.

The defense lead them, followed by the power running game. He just happened to be the QB. He was huge in one playoff game (the Packers), but was barely adequate in many others.
Thanks for clearing that up. Kaep had nothing whatsoever to do with it.

When is the last time that Chip Kelly was coaching this team. A world of a difference between Kelly and Nolan but don't let that get in the way of you acting like a little kid that is about to go stomp off and take all his toys home.

"If Kaepernick can't be the QB, then screw all you guys."

The trust is no longer there. I had said previously that the damage is already done which is why you never saw me boasting about the Chip hire. You'd be surprised. Not everyone is guided by money.
