Tell me about it. Really shows the colors when that comes up AGIAN. If they really think they'd have even been IN the SB that year, they're smokin' something good. Hell, I doubt they even beat GB with Alex.

Alex wouldve been in the SB in 2011 if Ginn hadnt been injured.

I'm talking about 2012....but yes, I agree about 2011.

Also you made it sound like he numbers were regressing ridiculously but they didn't...2013-2014 is rating went from a 91 to a 86 and you said his TDs have gonna down since 2012 which isn't true he had more in 2013 and only two less in 2014.

Stop with the drama, this is what I said.

His numbers were worse, he wasnt getting better.

So yeah it equals worse, not by much, but definitely not improving.

If you translate that to "made it sound like he numbers were regressing ridiculously" then that's your fault. not my problem.

We would not beat GB with Alex Smith. Kaep mind raped them with athletism. That was some serious display of what Kaep is capable of doing.

Lol a pro bowl alternate on a team that missed the playoffs who cares? Chip Kelly had Foles go to the pro bowl (was the MVP) and now he's getting benched in St. Louis for keenum

Kap never even made a alternate pro bowl SAYS ALL...

Thanks for the all bold like I can't see what your writing lol...who gives a s**t about pro bowl alternates? Dereck Anderson made a pro bowl what's your point. Different teams as well.

Kap SUCKS? Why he is close to being done with the 49ers and maybe even the NFL?

I don't know why it's so hard for some people, like I said, some people just can't handle the truth

Your not even reading what I've been saying in here...We have Blaine and Kap that's it! There are no FA QBs and the draft is incredibly weak at QB. Chip Kelly has taken every single QB he's had in college and the pros and made them better would you agree? Chip's offense is at it's best with a dual threat QB, so why couldn't he get the most out of him? What do we have to lose?

It's not a matter if KAP SUCKS the point is it's what we have to work with this upcoming season and who fit's Chips scheme.

Difference is Alex Smith is a good QB, Kap is not

20/20 hindsight is great. What did people think of Alex BEFORE Harbaugh?

I was one of the people who always knew Alex Smith was a better QB than Kap (back then and still now) and handing the QB job to Kap when he never earned it was the biggest mistake by Harb and the 49ers, and main reason Harb ultimately failed with Kap and got fired. So yea I had foresight many did not have and actually knew what's the difference between a good QB and a bad one and would like to think watching 33+ years of NFL football I've learned to see what is real talent and what is over rated over hype gimmick

Oh, I get it...

...YOU have known Kap sucked ALL ALONG. OK.

You, unlike the rest of us idiots, had the crystal clear foresight to see that Alex Smith as far superior to Kap despite the fact that Kap got them 5 yards from winning a SB in his 10th career start.

OK.

GTFO.

Alex Smith was viewed by the league as a complete bust before Harbaugh came along. Most fans like yourself wanted to show him the door. Against expectations and with TONS of fans complaining, Harbaugh didn't listen and actually RESIGNED Alex (since he was a FA) and turned his career around.

"Difference is Alex is a good QB". GTFO. That was NOT the perception of Alex before Harbaugh. They kept him, he greatly improved (and alot of the surounding issues that were a problem got resolved) and they were rewarded with one NFCCG and then 2 2nd round picks.

Even NOW, Kap isn't viewed as poorly as Alex was then.

Don't be mad just because Kap is the only and forever will be the only 49er QB to CHOKE A SUPER BOWL
And probably the only NFL QB to ever be benched on his birthday

Caught you

Alex Smith did in fact beat GB at GB in 2012, I guess Kap die-hards have selective memory when it comes to anything that makes their hero Kap look bad.

...in week 1.

I was talking about the playoffs. They beat GB with Kap too every single time they played them before finally losing THIS year.

Thsi "Kap die-hard" BS is lame. Wanting to see the guy get a chance with a real OC and better talent around him doesn't make people "die-hards". It makes them patient and unwilling to throw away the baby with the bathwater. At no point am I guaranteeing that he'll turn it around. YOU are the only one saying anything definitive.

it was the right move initially but i think the better long term solution would be for harabaugh to keep alex and jed not to fire harbaugh.

I don't know why it seems to be so hard for some people to distinguish between facts and opinions. It shouldn't be that hard - it's one of the most basic tenets of critical thinking.

OMG, that is one of the dumbest things I've ever read. Gratz.

A QB in his 10th career start led one of the biggest comebacks in NFL history and scored more points in doing so than any team ever has and still lost the game.

Kap isn't the reason the game was lost. Defense and Special teams were.

Its easy to see them on the 5 and that he couldn't get it done, but they would NEVER have even been in a position to win that game at the end if not for Kap.

Another kap die-hard with selective memory... 2012 season opener Alex Smith went to GB and beat Aaron Fartgers and the Packers 30-22.

Alex Smith haters act like it's impossible for Alex Smith to beat Fartgers, Seattle and Wilson (last season), Tom Brady (last season) or Peyton Manning (this season)...

LOL your the on blasting off about him...saying his getting worse which in reality the team was getting worse around him as well.

I'm just stating I think he can be better under chip's offense if you can't see that then fine.

Since you don't care who wins between Kap/Blaine what do you even want? I'm just being realistic there aren't any FA QBs and the draft class is very weak. I'm not saying Kap will become a top 5 QB next season but it's not stupid to think he will play better than he has under chip's offense.

They both had a hot hand at the time. Smith was playing better than he ever had on the Niners and Kaepernick totally dominated in his first outing.

I think it's just that Harbaugh was going with his chosen guy. Harbaugh has an ego, you know.

If Baalke can trade Kap for good picks before 4/1, he's gone
