these are plays I consider important... when the pressure is on max. Not when the game is getting away and the defense is playing soft.

very first playoff game... against Aaron Rodgers..... tie game 14-14... after throwing a pick 6 to start the game. Perfect Accurate Pass.

against Aaron Rodgers again, in the playoffs, at Lambo, in -20 degree weather... this time being down 17-13 in the 4th QTR. Perfect Accurate Pass.

Wut...5 years and only 1 .gif
One major difference (among many others) between Russell Wilson and Kap, Wilson actually scans the whole field when he is scrambling in the back field, kap looks at one guy 90%-95% of the time, maybe if you get lucky another guy 10%-5% of the time. That's the difference between a pro-bowler and one who has not make one pro-bowl, AND a Super Bowl champ and a Super Bowl Choke

Again, not happening. For one, you don't do QB competitions when one of your QB's has a $60 mil contract and the other is $2 mil. You're saying right there that Kap isn't worth his contract because it would be questioning him as a starter. Two, a trade is highly unlikely with the contract that Kap has, we are better off hoping for a trade for Gabbert and getting a good pick in return.

You don't start a QB just because he makes more. Whoever Kelly starts better be starting because they are the best.

You just don't bench him either, it makes you (the GM) look stupid for giving him such a big contract. Now if Kap was injured, then of course he sits on the bench.

For arguments sake he was Harbs guy. Harbs is gone. Kelly would be a jack ass to start an inferior player because of what they make. I don't care who it is, if somebody behind you is better they should start.
Need more gifs of checkdowns, good mechanics and losses!

Exactly. Even if they kept kap for 2016, Chip is NOT Harb. Chip can care less about benching Kap or hurting his feelings or confidence. Chip is not tie to kap and has shown he will go with the better player or a different option when one has failed or one doesn't listen to him. Kap will be traded after 2016 if they don't trade him or cut him before 4/1.

Blake Bortles and Derek Carr have been in the NFL 2 years. Both threw 30+ tds and 4K yards, 2 feats that kap has never sniffed. Bortles did it while being the most sacked QB in the NFL. These are the progressions you expect from franchise quarterbacks.

Kap, 5 years in, has been eclipsed by guys in their second year.

Neither have gone to the Super Bowl. Neither have brought their team back during a horrific first half of the Super Bowl.
If I were Kaep I'd tell the team to outright release me otherwise I'm not going to be 'healthy' come April 1st. Then I would sign with the Rams and haunt Baalke and York for the next 10 years.

True 1 read QB (did he scan the field and go through his progressions?). Will never be a pocket passer

With Kelly's 2-read offense, with Kaepernick, he'll still have to cut the offense in half.

j/k

Did you explain the sign and trade thing already?

Lol. No. That was just a joke. Did that take off?

Neither had a good head coach like Harb who held the QB's hand like a baby and more importantly, neither has a championship caliber defense to carry them.

And for those who think Kap was the strength of that Super Bowl 49er team doesn't know football

I'm sure you have some sort of statistical evidence of your claim regarding how often Kap scans the field?

Nevermind the fact that neither have even been to the playoffs and both play in s**t divisions. I think people forget that part.
