Just needs an all pro offense and same for D...without those, he probably will struggle.

Lol I don't think teams are even allowed to trade until the new league year starts.

Let me clarify...
I would LOVE Kap traded to Cleveland.
I would HATE the douche Manziel traded our way.

Rathman could turn Kap into a good RB. He turned two scrubs from Walmart into serviceable RBs, and Kap is definitely faster than them.

This is from kaps draft profile coming out of college:
"
Plays out of the pistol, lacks experience under center. Has not been asked to make NFL progressions and reads. Not quick to check down or hit hot read against the blitz. Misses too many short passes. Doesn't have consistent touch on the deep ball. Release is somewhat elongated and can dip down to sidearm at times."
Was this written yesterday? Because it still applies. He still can't read defenses or go through progressions. He still doesn't use his check down or hit his hot read. He still misses many short passes and has terrible consistency on deep balls. And of course his release his still out of whack and he "doesn't care about mechanics"
Has this guy improved much if at all since college?? He's almost 30. How much time does he need?!?
That sounds like it was written yesterday, pathetic.

You Kap fan boys are going to be devastated when Chip and Trent send Kap packing. Chips offense has his QB making multiple pre and post snap reads. Kap simply can't do this. He will see this seasons tape, and it will reaffirm what we all know: Kap is trash.
I don't find calling an athlete that worked his butt off to get the pros and likely worked harder than most of us "trash" to be a coherent opinion.
He won road play-off games and went to a Super Bowl.
Now, I will give you that he has not shown signs of being elite - sometimes not even middle of the pack.
But he certainly isn't "trash"
Can someone please explain why people keep saying that Tomsulas offense was the same as Harbaugh's?? They were so different it's ridiculous.

Harbaugh used a WCO terminology, Chryst did as well. The play calling was completely different, but I wouldn't be surprised if the play book was identical.

The actual system was exactly the same. He didn't have to learn a new playbook or drastically different terminology. calling more zone runs does not equate to a new system.
They even reduced the playbook for him and simplified his "check with mes" at the line.....

I look at it like this; Kaep is a QB that's won for us in the toughest of circumstances, on the road, in the freezing cold in the playoffs against future hall of famers. No other 49ers QB has ever done that. I also saw a guy that was playing through with a hand, shoulder and knee that all needed surgery in an offense scheme and oline that for all intents and purposes was one of the worst in the league and it showed. So please forgive me if I'm not wanting to give up on a guy that's done all that and instead chose a first round flop or a college QB that struggled with the likes of UCLA, USC, Utah and Oregon because last time I checked there were no sophomores in the NFC west.

Yup.
How the hell has this guy been in the league 5 years, and his listed weaknesses from the 2011 draft are still applicable today? What the hell has he been doing? Obviously hasn't improved much.

Go back and look at what we did under Roman and Harbaugh and then compare it to the ZBS, single back s**t we ran last year. The route concepts and formations were even close to the same.

And I am so sick of the offensive line excuses. News flash: good qbs find a way. Blake bortles was the most sacked QB in the league, and he threw 35 tds. Russell was the 3rd most sacked and he threw 34 tds. From bortles to Carr, all these young qbs have taken the next step in their advancement and eclipsed Kaepernick as a quarterback. This guy simply doesn't have it.
