Initially, I resisted trying to be overly critical with the move, but once I saw the HC hiring debacle, that was the very last straw for me. I did want to have an open mind at the start cos afterall Harbaugh couldn't sort out Kap and the offense and we ended up with a 8-8 season. But, come on Jim Tomsula?! That is just the pits!! I cringe everytime I see one of his interviews to a point I now no longer want to watch nor hear what the heck he has to say anymore.

So, absolutely as a fan I have the right and will continue to slam York and Baalke until they prove me wrong.

I honestly question whether or not Kap is the right QB for us. I just see him at times as nothing more than a gimmicky QB, then sometimes he does something great, but IDK, I think it's 50-50 on whether he improves or not. I think he has a max of 2 more years before the FO will cut him. He really screwed up by giving the 49ers a great deal, cause he can be cut easily in the next 2 offseasons without a huge hit.

You are not the only one, I question that too. And is not even a matter of pocket passer vs running QB, in short he is just not a very good QB, period.

You are already very kind to give me 2 more years, I think we will only give him this coming season and that's it. Also, it will be interesting to see whether we draft a QB such as a Bryce Petty for example, if we do then we will have a pretty good idea how the organization feels about him.

Kaep didn't even have a bad year...to what he had to deal with on the play calling....there's easily 12-15 qbs that are worse then kaep

Your guys hate is so strong on kaep is that you have him leaving before we have anything suitable to replace him with !

All they knew was Erickson/Nolan/Sing and that 49er football was pitiful. Then Harbaugh comes and the 49ers finally win. Then management lets him go and it's wtf. Those that saw any of the 5 SB victories at an adult age are less angry about Harbaugh being let go. Just a hypothesis.
I personally don't know anyone that's ok with Harbaugh being fired, and that's all age groups.

Exactly, our offense sucked and got WORSE every year! Our defense was good, and Harbaugh didn't do anything for that.

This. I could buy a fan being more upset with the front office not finding a way to retain the defensive staff than I will for them running Harbaugh out of town. For any pro Harbaugh supporter, can anyone honestly say they had faith in him or Greg Roman to overcome out offensive ineptitude? I am not buying the injury argument. Every team has injuries and our poor use of personnel going back to even the 2012 season is what ultimately doomed this team.
Sell the team York!!!

Isn't this the same Garcia that was lobbying in the mass media for the chance to be Kaepernick's quarterback coach?

I guess he never got that job.

This. Not sure how in all of this Harbaugh came off looking like he did no wrong. NFL is all about what have you done for me lately but it's like the 2014 season didn't happen for Harbaugh.

The only change I would've made in what happened is I would've preferred we kept the defensive staff in place since they clearly knew what they were doing. Also would've liked to get someone better suited than Chryst in at OC but they at least tried.

Drevno and maybe Donatell. And as Drevno had already gone, not that bothered.

this thread amuses me and that is pretty much the value i see with it. just another way to continue our webzone civil war with those who want and hope we go 4-12 being the mason dixon line
We fired Mike Singleterry because of our lack of offensive production. We hired Jim Harbaugh because he was a."Quarterback Whisperer" but offensively we were worse every year except 2012.

…. . .
What is the consensus here on the webzone?
Are we another case of management screwing up and "firing good 'Mariucci' and having 10 losing seasons due to bad management" or are we an example of a good management decision like the Warriors ie. "firing a bad 'Mark Jackson' and replacing him with a good 'Steve Kerr'"???

Which Side Are You On?

Anyone being promoted by the asshats at profootballtalk is wrong, a Niners hater and obviously a c**t

WE DIDN'T EVEN USE GORE WHEN WE HAD HIM.

Screw Harbaugh,he sold us out like as if our name was Alex. Move on. His gimmick got old.

Thank you Tony Starks for telling it like it is,and His Gimmicks will run out at Michigan when Ohio State beat the Brakes off Michigan.

I think he will do great at Michigan as he did at Stanford. His antics become tired after 4 years, at which point his players will move on. Perfect college coach.
