Sure, but I still haven't figured out how to isolate a group from the whole offense, so will post that after they are online.

No need to isolate position groups. Whatever is easiest. With MMartin not exactly wowing, I'm curious if BThomas can leapfrog and take RG.

So that's +2.1 for pass blocking and 0.1 for run blocking? Thanks!

Big thanks dtg. I want to see BThomas versus the 1s. If Martin isn't ready, then he isn't ready. We need someone capable next to Pears.

Yes, I wish other teams would play their #1s the whole game! LOL! It would certainly tell us more than the scrums in the second half usually do. As for Martin...he is so young that he may need another years to develop. The team is lucky to have some pretty good depth in the middle. Tiller is another guy I'd like to see more early in the game.

They haven't tried a Martin at C and Thomas at G pairing yet as far as I've noticed.

Just read an article that the Broncos DLs and OLBs had their way with our OLine today. But then again, its just practice, lol.

Thanks, dtg, and now i have to ask myself if i believe what my lying eyes saw on the field.
The hard part here is we are set on the most important side, the L side. Question marks are from the C to the RT. And that is what makes this a tough choice. Not only who plays best where, but by virtue of that , how do the remaining guys based on that one players position being settled. Point is it has to work together and each guy has to compliment the other . The number of permutations and combinations here is not large. It is relatively short and finite. The trick is if you put say martin at C, then how do the remainder play if that is , hypothetically, his best position...or put him at RG...doesn't matter. Once he is placed the other guys have to be complimentary to his good qualities at that slot. And that is what makes this so darn hard. You aren't moving just one piece...the others have to fall in place based on that one choice. That is the holdup, and JT just keeps trying different combos, seeing which works well in pass pro , which in run blocking, and then which do both well...or well enough. Not easy . Never was. Plus, we haven't really established who is the best at only 1 slot, let alone all 3. It would be nice to have a bit more talent at hand...but we got what we got. The Dewey(sp?) addition will be interesting to see play out.

LOL!

Are you sure that's the right game? The niners nation breakdown of the PFF grades said Pears had the worst grade at -1.4 and this has B.Thomas playing RG but I'm pretty sure he played LG in the Dallas game. He played RG in the Texans game

I don't understand what this staff is doing! It's like singletary is running this team. They need to kick out Boone to RT and have Martin at Center. Then let thomas, kilgore, and looney battle it out for our remaining G's spots.
