Jones repeatedly limped to the LoS, later he prompted an injury time out, and was practically carried off the field in pain late in the 4th quarter. With all that in mind, though, you're not wrong, They played about as good as we could reasonably ask them to play in pass protection against the league's leading team in sacks. Cold comfort if you're Mac Jones, though.

I can't help but wonder how much longer he's going to be able to keep this up.

McKivtz I thought was a statue on a few plays he could have at least blocked a guy in front of him. And running right got us almost no yards.
On the surface the pass blocking looked great against a really good pass rushing team. But, Mac was literally getting drilled nearly every drop back. Unbelievable he actually finished the game.

I won't say they were horrendous but it seemed like every play ONE guy f**ked everything up. There was a play late where if Colby JUST gets his body in front of verse, Brian robinson rips off a huge run. Can't.

Mckivitz let's Brock get drilled. Trent gets bullrushed. Etc etc

They need to get better

I thought pass blocking was solid against that great front, sure Trent and McKivitz were beaten a few times but guys like Verse are borderline stars

Yeah Mac was getting drilled but he would be getting rid of the ball so he had *some* time. Honestly if Im the Rams fans aside from obvious mistakes (special teams, turnovers) Im wondering both why dline didnt dominate and also why the coverage was so soft against underneath stuff (Tonges, Bourne)

Their LBs are solid (at times) but not very good and neither are their safeties, particularly with those underneath plays called by Shanny...
I thought the o line was solid. They faced an elite Rams pass rush today and hung in there.

Im far more concerned about the D line. They could not apply any pressure what so ever on Stafford. He was way too comfortable back there.

Honestly, I thought Trent Williams had a rough game. Jared Verse is a hand full. McKivitz probably had the worse game of the season for him. Puni I thought was decent, his play didn't stand out too much so I guess that's a good thing. Colby, still a rookie, seen him get man handled a few times. As for Brendel, he sucks!!! I'd start this 10 days of rest by benching him and seeing what you have in Matt Henessey and Drew Moss.
This is probably the worst I've seen them tbh. TW lost a step so far and for some reason we can't run the ball. In an obvious short yardage run they get blown up.

My guess is Kittle coming back will greatly help, but we'll be on our 8th qb by seasons end the way this is going.
OL pass blocking was pretty damn good overall, especially against one of the best DLs in the game.

McCaffery cant run behind this line. I don't think he or the scheme are the problem

He runs like he's in mud so yeah that's a problem

I think it's pretty clear he's lost a step.

What are you looking at , he looked pretty fast when he could get in the open field. He led the team tonight in yards of separation at over 5 yds. If you ever played the game you would know when your constantly hit in the backfield or have linemen pushed into you running lanes you can't get going. This is maybe the worst line for running the ball they have not had any wide running lanes

He's definitely lost a step. But the line is a bigger problem.

He used to be as fast a Etienne was against us last week. Now he's just average speed. He's still got elite hands and is elite at knowing the playbook.

He's just average between the tackles. The line so bad though. There's no room for any of the backs.

He's not loss a step Lynch and Kyle said in training camp that he looked as explosive since the first that he became a niner. I will wait on judgment till I see he has a big running lane were he can just flat turn on the jets or not. Stone had no one touch him on that big run not the same as what CMC has and the the Jags were in the offseason talking about cutting Etienne but what happened they signed 2 linemen in Free agency and not they have one of the better lines in the league

McKivitz blows.

He would be ok to work around if the rest of the line was better. At least once a game he whiffs bad on an obvious 3rd down etc. Brendel is horrible. Puni is struggling and Colby is not that good. We need three grizzly's in the middle

Trent is having a rough season...

I don't know if he is going to play himself back into shape, or he has finally slowed down for good, but the dude is getting beat with regularity....

Bosa is the only solid player from that list. It's not like the other scrubs can generate any pressure without him.
