He runs like he's in mud so yeah that's a problem

I think it's pretty clear he's lost a step.
5th in run blocking...that's the funniest s**t of the year.

Clearly, he's a year older and running backs tend to age in dog years, so it's to be expected. But, I've been mulling this over for most of the season and I'm not sure I'm willing to come to that conclusion. The reason for this is that McCaffrey seems to be needing to frequently break tackles at or near the line of scrimmage, and those tackles are often being made with assistance. That's a tough ask for anyone. The type and quality of the holes that he's trying to hit this year (when there even is a hole) are very different from what he's had to work with in prior years. That makes it difficult for me to say he's lost a step because it's hard to make a comparison there. He looks fine against LBs and DBs in the passing game (when he catches the damned ball), so I'm not sure McCaffrey is the primary part of the problem. I hope I'm not putting words in your mouth, that's not my intent.

Dude CMC's first contact is on avg 1.47 yards. One of the worst in the league. It has nothing to do with speed, he's more than quick enough. There are absolutely no blocking lanes. He can't get to the second level and even then the WRs aren't blocking well.

Forget second level. He rarely gets to theb1st level without a guy pushed into his lap in the backfield.
That s**tty OL better buy Mac dinner tonight!
Incredibly happy for that W. This OL, though…not good. When they play a DL with any kind of decent talent, they get exposed.
Still sucks
Teams figured out Puni and Puni just cant get a push in run blocking, and that was a problem last year.

Trent is definitely losing the battle with father time. Brendel is Brendel and has been Brendel for last two seasons.

Colby is a rookie and it shows
I don't think god could last 17 games behind this line.

Or at least keep him company in the ER waiting room.
