I like the signing personally.. I cant help but feeling though a similiar signing with Brandon Jacobs... Former good player, expected to do not alot but a good amount of damage to opposing defenses. I hope it plays out differently seeing as Bush is a completely different type of Back.

I would like to see us use him like to Saints used him.. Funny enough thats the only way i see the coaches using him, like New orleans did. And funny enough, Reggie hated the way the Saints used him so its irony is comical.

Interesting signing though non the less.. Maybe FO doesnt have full support into Hyde yet? I Mean i havent seen the contract yet but I suppose this signing is a good insurance policy if Hyde cant be a true #1 back.

Ummm... why would you want to see him used the way the Saints' used him? Sean Payton wasted the early years of Bush's career.

If you are saying you want to see him used inthe passing game the way the Saints did, I would like that as well. He commands so much respect just on swing out that it opens up the passing game. RB's like Bush and Sproles are what made the Saints offense what it was, Drew Brees has never had a very strong arm, but forcing S's to creep up and CB's to peak in the backfield really opened up throwing lanes for Brees. It's also why the Saints are ponying up for CJ Spiller, a similar type of RB, after not having the underneath passing game and their downfield attack suffering last year.

But Bush deserves about 10-15 carries a game. Payton was hardly giving him any, some games he would have 2-3 carries.

Bush in NO was averaging over 500yards on the ground a year... and then a load of receving yards like 700 with new orleans.. He is what he is, no one wasted his years. He was averaging like 3.6 yards a carry on the ground. Most backs wont be allowed to touch the ball with those types of numbers, See Trent Richardson

When he was the featured back in Detroit he barely eclipsed 1k yards...

I want us to use him like NO did because thats what Bush is. Hes not what he was in USC.. and if u hope we use him like a every down back or a very often featured back, then that means you will be neglecting giving Hyde alot of carrys let alone any other RB on our roster...

We can use alot of 2 back sets with Hyde/Bush, but i expect Hyde to be getting the load of all rushing yards, and bush to be more of our checkdown-home run hitter..

Oh my I cant believe Im going to say this but . . . . Bush can be a great mentor to the younger RBs on the team, they have someone to look to for insights and answers.

Because there really is no one else. Bush is a great change of pace back and we should see alot of screens. Like the signing.

If Roman was still the OC, this would be the stupidest signing in our history. Fortunately for us, Geep might know how to utilize Bush to his strengths. More passes to RBs out of the backfield will be nice to see. Good compliment to Hyde and hopefully Huntet if he stays healthy.

Lets just hope Geep doesn't take pages out of Romans book.

Alright signing. Maybe we can see some screens and dump offs. And a few runs to the outside

Well the good thing about 2015, no one has tape on what the niner offense will/can do. With the Torrey and Bush signings, Geep/Logan can create fresh plays/formations along with Davis/Boldin/Hyde. Like Harbaughs first year, this might be the best scenario to get back to the SB.
Any word on the terms of Reggie's deal?
He's produced in his 1st year with the team the past 3 times let's hope that continues. I don't think he has much left so hopefully we keep him to a 3rd down back.

Hated to see Harbaugh go, but i cant not agree with you. Getting rid of them was the smartest move from the Fo's stand point since York simply did not want that coaching staff anymore. Who can blame him if they disagreed on how they wanted to see the football team ran? They were wanting to play football like we had a pure pocket passer as our QB.. Kap just wasnt that, isnt that, and most likely will never be purely that. and i think as u said these FAST signings will make us more of a Eagles type offense where everything has to do with SPEED, and not the traditional way of running a pro style offense.

Hyde/BUsh/Kap split backs.. TOrrey our speedester up the seam. V.Davis/BOldin our possesino receivers... No excuses #2015
We will be a lot faster with Reggie Bush and Torrey Smith. Bush is injured a lot and never really lived up to the college hype.

I'd have rather gotten Jaquizz Rodgers. I'd rather have LaMichael James back too, he never got a fair chance, and he was pretty productive when he did get snaps, look at his YPC. Not sure how much Bush has left, have not seen him play in awhile.

at James. He was garbage. And soft. And fumbled. And emotional.
I will LMAO if they gave Bush more than $4M a yr on a long term deal.

at 30, bush is getting old for a RB too, thats the only thing i dont like about the signing but he can still help.

That would be just awful. He better be here on a 1-2 year deal around 2-3 mil max.

Well the only thing that can go wrong is the coaching staff not coaching these guys up.

NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT FOOTBALL...

Him sitting on the Dolphin's PS is all we need to know (if he even is... I don't keep tabs on the dude).
