I just looked it up to confirm...the pro football HOF does not make a player declare for a team and they do not select a team.

Does it have to be out of those 2?
I believe he stated his favorite coach was Jimmy Johnson and one of the players he respected the most was Ronnie Lott

I don't know, I thought the owners usually introduce the players.

God I hope he picks Eddie D. Ive always felt Charles to be a 49er at heart that just got traded to the Cowgirls. When He came back in 98' for the playoffs I cannot tell people what that meant to me because Haley was My 2nd alltime Favorite 49er defensive player of all time. He was great from the start as a rookie even.

An amazing player and a total travesty that he had to wait so long to get inducted. Yes, he had psychological issues (which he has admitted and indeed diagnosed as bipolar syndrome), but not all HOFers are shining beacons of humanity either (OJ?). I was totally crushed when we traded him.
