What part of any of this is wrong? Yes, he is a Seahawk homer, BUT, he's dead on target with this one.

Who is selling this unknown DL line coach that we known about forever ?

Maybe he should do his homework

Anyone who says we are winners needs to get their head checked.

You don't lose an entire coaching staff and think the niners are improved from last year

The fans may know about Tomsula, but the problem is the bulk of the coaching candidates don't and that introduction press conference didn't help neither.

You have to wonder what is the word on the state of the 49ers amongst the coaching circle at this point. If I had to guess ? A complete mess to put it mildly. If I were a coaching candidate, I wouldn't want to work for the 9ers nor under Tomsula.
Sad state of affairs @ the 49ers

This.

Then you add on the scrubs we are about to hire to replace these coaching vacancies, I don't think the word "improve" is even in the conversation, "regression" comes to mind.

Underperforming? Harbaugh played the best hand he was dealt starting with replacing an ineffective A. Smith with an unknown in Kap. How can harbaugh know kap would never turn the corner during the four years? I got a feeling roman and harbaugh were running an offense limited to what kap could do rather than having a more dynamic offense. Roman will probably do well in Buffalo with less talent at RB, the O line and at WR.

Of course this was a huge loser move. And even after firing Harbaugh, they still could have saved the situation by hiring a legit new head coach, but they didn't they hired a no-name under-qualified position coach. And you wonder why they can't fill the coaching positions now ? Well, eventually they will, but they will be a bunch of rejects from scrub teams like the Raiders and the Jets.
Rascal, the coaching candidates sucked, i would rather pay a guy who the team respects, over a guy that already sucks since he's available

huh? Fangio is a better choice than Tomsula was IMO. Tomsula is a yes man, which is what Jed and Trent wanted.

Plus had we given Fangio the job we could had more continuity on the defensive coaching side with Donatell, Leavitt and Tomsula all staying.

We blew up the entire staff and have nothing good to show for it.

Yeah I'm curious about this too. Wondering if Kaep will also improve in a new offense. I have my doubts but we'll see I guess.

no matter who we hire(d), we were gonna come out as "losers" because of what Harbaugh accomplished during his tenure.

This.

Nobody would've looked at it like an upgrade to a coach that accomplished as much as Harbaugh.

Now from all accounts Tomusula is a X's O's guy. I've read a lot of "doom and gloom" posts saying he's going to be just like Singletery and I don't think that's going to be the case at all.

I like Tomsula. Didn't like the hire. He is a hard worker and I expect him to do well

Based upon what???? He's a hard worker? I'm sure Blaine Gabbert is a hard worker...how good is he?

JT is more then a Hard Worker, when the the Niners were playing really bad I believe against the Raiders, and the Offense Had just came of the field after a really bad series,Harbaugh DID not do a damn thing except stand there on the sideline with His arms folded, and JT came over and Lit into the Offensive Unit for about 3-5 Minutes, and I was like, What the Hell! Isn`t that the Offensive Coaches Job? why is The DL coach doing the Offensive Coaches Job Should`nt that Be the HC job? and that was on National TV,and I believe that scene set the TABLE for JT to get the Job,because it showed hey this guy shows that He will do whatever despite His position to get the TEAM going,Hench "Teacher" they were looking at,you know you can tell whose who when thing s go south, who fights on and who just says f**k it...I for onethink JT will do just fine and when He does then all you guys who criticize the Hire will either CONTINUE to bad-mouth the Hire or you will eat Humble pie,and sometimes there is nothing wrong with eating Humble pie.

He lists us a "loser." Relevant passage listed below:

1. San Francisco 49ers: "No knock on Jim Tomsula, but it's hard to sell fans on a relatively unknown defensive line coach replacing a guy who reached three consecutive conference title games. More bad press. I am sure Steeler nation blasted the Tomlin hire and Raven nation blasted the John Harbaugh hire, but they both turned out fine. I only mention this cause they also were both assistants who went directly to HC.
