I have lost confidence in Jed York. I thought for a while he was a bright young guy who was passionate about winning. But he is looking more like an arrogant, silver spoon brat by chasing off Harbaugh (and Fangio) in favor of the company man D-Line coach. Motivational Speaker, Part II. I am thankful I didn't purchase a PSL. I see lots of empty seats in the future.

I can't even put into words how pissed I am right now!!!! Worst f#(king possible coach they could've hired! Well at least the Kap haters will be happy... Tomsula will be done in two years and Kap too, we'll be rebuilding again...

He came across as a blue-collar everyman, a man of the people who probably wasn't the man to lead an NFL team on full-time basis. His players, however, blew his cover, noting he was doing plenty of teaching to a 5-10 team that beat Arizona, 38-7, with him in charge.

And that is who we need in a HC. A HC needs to know the Xs and Os, which report say Tomsula does and Singletary didn't, but more importantly, they need to manage the game and be able to handle the many in-game situations that arises. He shouldn't be worried about the offense or defense or special teams during the game. He needs to hire the people and trust them to handle it.

I like Tomsula, but I don't understand making him the HC. I can't wait to hear York and Baalke explain why they chose him over Gase, McDaniels or Fangio. If they were going to go with a defensive mind coach why not Fangio. Were they worried Tomsula would leave?

You know, I tried to warn fans that there might be a left-field type of call here but even "I" didn't think it would be, "John Tomsoolo" (per NFLN). I just need time. I do like JT a lot though.
