what do you think Kap's speed should be in madden?

Ludicrous?

at LEAST a 90... In older versions Gore's speed is 92 and Kap's is 85 from when he was drafted

This goes onto the lack of football situation awareness. Backed up deep inside your own field with 3rd & 20, that's a big up hill situation. The defense will give up the underneath but nothing deep. Plus you know those defensive front guys will be coming with a full rush. Kaep shouldn't take that long to look deep. He only had 2 WR going deep on the outside.

He should have taken a quick look to the outside then quickly throw to the underneath. Chances are good you are not going to get all that 20yards on a 3rd down play. Make the easy underneath the completion then punt. It's not popular, but it saved what happened. Kaep tried to do too much with no ball security and it resulted in a TD for the Chargers.

It should be whatever Eric Weddle's speed is +3.

Thl and jd you are very appreciated for these threads. Just curious how moody, tank aldon lynch performed. Thank you.

I didn't really pay attention to individual defensive players much. My enthusiasm for watching the film took a hit after the OAK game. I know Moody was not good @SEA, but he was forced into the lineup due to injury that week so I kinda excuse him for that. Rivers did a good job of quickly getting rid of the ball and that helped to nullify the 49er pass rush(Aldon, Lynch).

He's probably the fastest player in football and one of the fastest men in the world. When he's at full speed he runs like Usain Bolt. I have no doubt he'd be a sub 10 second guy if he trained for it and he might be already anyway.

Or the line could block for more than 2 seconds.

Was that Patton running up alongside him?

This. Context. It's 3rd and 20 and we're "going for it." For a 20+ yard play to be successful, CK needs 3+ seconds. He can't even hit his plant foot before he sees Staley's man pressuring (spooking him) AND another free DL coming right up the middle thanks to Iupati taking a nap on his BACK! Is Iupati the reason Boone is hurt? B/c he flew right into the back of the legs of Boone. Pathetic!

The line was the main issue this season. They were pure garbage! Sure there is plenty of blame to go around but if this line had played what there potential is it would have turned out different.

Hence why Roman may call a RUN in these situations... Yet fans spew the same old ignorant s**t bashing the call.

Nothing wrong with the call here IMHO b/c the season is over (why NOT go for it!?). But normally, when you are up, backed inside your own 20 and in a 3rd and 20, against an active DL, you just hit a screen or run it.

I'm not criticizing the call, I'm just making a point that dates back to all season long when it has mattered.
