As a fan since 1946 who has experienced all the ups, downs and windows, this team will be back in the playoffs next season. It's a highly talented roster that had to go through a season with a toxic locker room thanks to a coach and front office who had lost their way. With a top new HC and OC, they'll turn it around quickly. The defense is just too good not to do so.
Yes, it did when the refs made the wrong call last year on the Brooks' hit on the midget. This was a turning point and made our life too difficult in the playoffs. Windows close, but others get open. The only issue is when...

The only thing difficult in those playoffs was Kap's brainfart decision to throw to Crabs in the NFCCG.
We would be alright if we get an offensive minded HC that does not interfere with the play calling. I have no idea why it took so long for the plays to be called. I was tired seeing play clock always at 1 before we snapped the ball. Kaep needs a QB coach to teach him to progress through the reads. Stop following one WR.

I would argue that Crabtree could have played a bit of defense there as well. Gotta help your QB out there. Pull Sherman down or push off

ck and gore willed us down the field after bowmans horrific injury , so i do not want to hear this. true crabs is not clutch and i will be glad when he is no longer on the team but i do not blame ck for that loss. gee maybe if roman could have called something to allow us to score 7 on the first fumble by wilson, it never would have come down to that,, but of course not.

I dont think the window is closed, but Seatlle hasnt fallen off, AZ is only getting better, Rams are only a QB away from being a straight up contender, GB is definitely back to form, Detriot is pretty damn good now, and Dallas is clearly better now that they have a an OL....so it's not really just about us getting back on track and "waalaa" we're back...it's gonna be damn tough because other are on the come up fast!

How many "top HC and OC" are there even in this league? We will be a 7-10 win team again. Scenarios out of our hands will dictate if we make the Playoffs

I still have that damn game recorded and have watched it like 20 times...and get pissed at that play everytime like its the first time...I think that one pisses me off more than the "hold" on the SB incompletion. Because the bottom line is, it was 1st down! WTF was he doing? Wasn't necessary to go for the homerun!! And i keep seeing Quinton Patton wide freakin open at the top of the screen with no one within a 15 yard radius of him, and then to hear our QB say his mind was made up to where he was going right out of the huddle just. So no matter what you were throwing it there? Ok...i'm ranting...i'm done...it's over...whatever..

No. But it will if we screw up this coaching hire.
No way in hell has our "window" "closed".
It was busted smashed shattered et cetera OPEN back in 2011, it has just now been noticed. BUT I think they like the breeze; and the wild animals coming in. So they are goingleave it open. Until it becomes a more serious problem. It isn't time to for a new window; hence, it isn't time to rebuild anything either. you got that
Its the NFL. The window opening and closing happens for a ton of teams every year.

Just have to find some stability like the Pats, Steelers and Packers. Of course that normally means finding a HOF QB, which is hard to come by.
