Pretty much how I feel. Injuries hurt us the most, add below average play from CK, OL, TE, etc. Even stupid bad calls from refs added to the Niners misfortune. A coaching change sounds like a good solution to some, but CK will need to learn a new playbook/scheme, may take months to get comfortable. This just wasn't a good year at all. Ugh!

I hope they let Harbaugh play out his contract for one more season and see how Niners bounce back when they're all healthy.

Could happen if they think Jim is our best shot with a healthy roster premium draft slotting and a softy schedule to get into that big game in the Bay February 2016. I know Jed wants to be playing in that game at all costs!

Dude, there are a LOT of coaches out there better than Harbaugh. Harbaugh's greatest skill is putting together coaching talent and KEEPING that talent. Well, he's FAILED spectacularly on one side of that coin. Which makes him a little less "great" than people seem to believe.

Fact is, he's a good coach that landed in a GREAT situation. All the 49ers need to do is find a good coach that has a competent partner on the other side of the ball. Something, as hard as this is to read, Harbaugh FAILED to do.

Yeah because he is always losing games. Hard to blow a game without the lead. Oh and Kevin Gilbride was the Giants OC for 7 years so not sure what you are talking about with "the doesn't waste much time" bs.

Realistically, Kaep needs a true WCO coach. He's not going to drop back, sit in the pocket, and wait for the open window to throw the ball. He's got happy feet, prone to slide out of the pocket at first sight of collapse. Only a quick 3 step throw can solve this.

I'm seeing all these names thrown around. But the reality is Kaep will only succeed if he has a WCO coach or a guy like Cowhers who just wants to run every play, therefore negating the QB's purpose.

How many rings does Gilbride and Coughlin have??? with ELI as QB. Hey, I think Killdrive is bad too, but fact is, he's better than Roman. And, Coughlin is a better coach than Harbaugh... Period. He's forgot more about football than Harbaugh could hope to know. And he hasn't forgotten a whole lot.

Harbaugh is deciding his future. This isn't the scenario I see a LOT of people posting, in that the 49ers just want Harbaugh gone. Harbaugh if fueling this divorce as much as anyone.

Its incredible how some are making Harbaugh an innocent martyr in all of this, that its all an entirely one-sided issue and Harbaugh clearly has done nothing wrong. I'm sure there's a lot of blame to go around on both sides. You don't just alienate an entire front office while winning a lot of football games without being a colossal dick and immeasurably difficult to work with.

I totally believe Harbaugh is a colossal dick and a pain in the ass to deal with. But these guys need to put their big boy pants on and deal with it. There are plenty of people at the top of their profession that are terribly difficult to work with. In a lot of ways, that's what makes them good. Michael Jordan was a pain in the ass to deal with but all he did was win. Same with Jerry Rice, Kobe Bryant, and the list goes on and on... The same type of attitude and success correlation extends beyond sports as well, but I'll save the examples.

I cringe at the potential hiring of Jim Tomsula though. He seems too Singletary 2.0 to me. Supposed great motivator and very intense person that has never been an NFL coordinator (head coach in NFL Europe doesn't count). Worse yet, he seems to be the front runner because he'll just toe the company line and will be easy to get along with. Using the business saying, A players hire A players, B players hire B players, the Tomsula hire would be a bunch of D players hiring an F player.
