Its incredible how some are making Harbaugh an innocent martyr in all of this, that its all an entirely one-sided issue and Harbaugh clearly has done nothing wrong. I'm sure there's a lot of blame to go around on both sides. You don't just alienate an entire front office while winning a lot of football games without being a colossal dick and immeasurably difficult to work with.

Harbaugh is like Ricky Bobbie's dad. Things... are just getting a little too perfect... I'm getting that itch.

His guy for OC

Fangio stays DC

Keep Defense staff in place.

Fire everyone on Offense except Rathman.

Why should he stay and everyone else should go?

Because when Miller's in the game and we decide to run the ball -- good things happen?

If we could get Harbs to stay after firing the majority of the offensive staff and hiring Morringwheg and let him fill out the rest of the O staff, i'd be happy.

Do you really think he's stay if the majority of HIS coached got the boot?

No way!

Fangio is under contract. That decision is up to the 49ers.

Having said that I disagree. Why in hell would he? You have one of the better defenses in the NFL since your return and the GM keeps on stocking your defensive roster with studs. Vic's got it really good with the 49ers so he's going to give that all up to stay loyal to Harbaugh? What's Vic gonna do when Harbaugh wears out his welcome in Oakland, or Miami, or NY in 3-4 years?

I think Vic stays on as the 49ers DC under a new HC. I don't think there will be much change in our defensive staff cept maybe a guy like Donatell leaving to be Jims new DC, which will hurt obviously.

we all knew this about him and so did the niners,, people are just fooling themselves if they thought he was going to stay ten years ,, no,, he wears out his welcome everywhere and it was only a matter of time,,, i and others just did not expect things to go up in smoke like they have as of late,, but that tends of happen when the coaches lose enthusiasm which then translates to the players and we see what we have seen on the field.. i am sick of the drama. thank you jim for coming along but you do not get a pass for roman for three years since the super bowl and you do not get a pass for what has taken place in multiple games,, and then do not get me started on the games we have had to win, in spite of roman and enabler JH
Harbaugh deserves a new contract. He also must admit the offense sucks. Kap needs to be re-evaluated.

i am not sure whether to laugh or cry at those who now breathlessly predict we will go 2-14 after the great white hope is gone

We won't get anybody better to replace him with. Therefore he should stay. His record is good. The injuries and suspensions doomed this season. It's not all on Harbaugh. It was doomed from the beginning IMO. They just did the best they could to hold it together this year. I think the 49ers really are dumb enough to get rid of him and get a worse coach. These are the Yorks we are talking about after all.

yeah, especially aldon. he was supposed to be the premiere edge rusher guy in the nfl in 2014, but we got squat. even now, healthier than just about everyone, he plays like nuthin' special. no excuse. the guy must've grew up eating lead paint.

True. He did NOT do his job this year. Aldon hurt us.
and if he refuses to fire roman SD , what are you prepared to do
I hope Harbaugh AND Kap stays, I don't think there is a Niner-Hawk rivalry without those two.
I voted for Fangio. I was very impressed with how he fielded a great defense despite all of the injuries on that side of the ball this year. He clearly has the ability to adjust scheme to fit the players.

That is something we haven't had on the offensive side.

who gives a s**t about the so called rivalry which was not so much so this year.... can we go back to a position where we are able to beat teams like the bears and rams at home please?

Funny, because, if Roman doesn't get fired, the rivalry will be one sided, if it exists at all. This team can't endure another year of Sub Bevell offensive play calling / game planning.
