There should be health warnings on all 9ers games. I don't know how many years I have lost from watching the 9ers games this season. It is absolutely hazardous to your health and well-being, both physically and mentally.

2011

1st quarter -- 3.7 (22nd)
2nd quarter --7.1 (t-11th)
3rd quarter -- 6.2 (6th)
4th quarter -- 7.1 (8th)

2012

1st quarter -- 3.6 (t-21st)
2nd quarter --7.8 (8th)
3rd quarter -- 6.3 (t-4th)
4th quarter -- 8.4 (5th)

2013

1st quarter -- 5.9 (4th)
2nd quarter --7.5 (t-12th)
3rd quarter -- 4.5 (22nd)
4th quarter -- 6.8 (15th)

2014

1st quarter -- 5.7 (t-5th)
2nd quarter --7.7 (9th)
3rd quarter -- 3.3 (26th)
4th quarter -- 2.2 (32nd)

In 2011 and 2012, we started slow in 1st quarters, but were good the rest of the game. 2013 we started fast, but slowed down in the 2nd half. 2014 we start fast, and completely fall off the cliff in the 2nd half. I don't know what to make of these stats, but they are what they are.

I remember those early Kap games in 2012, sometimes we had to wait awhile to score points (Miami, the last Arizona game). But usually we were rewarded with scoring at some point.

In a weird way you can say the 4th year of this offense combined with the talents we have means we can put together a game plan to dominate out of the gate, but the predictability has stymied us from doing much more than that.

I don't know, but he needs to get his head out of his ass. But one thing is for dam sure, Kaepernick is no Philip Rivers! Rivers is an elite QB and I wish we had him.

Let's see here: CK7 torches the San Diego defense for 35 points. The defense blows a 21 point lead in the second half.

And you -- in your judgement -- are putting the loss on CK7. Is that right?

OK -- fine.

If things were not already bad enough we lost 6 players to injury in the last 2 games and had to release a 7th (RayMac). Come on. This is beyond belief. Watching guys getting burned for big catches and TD's who shouldn't even be on the team let alone on the field. This is the worse year for injuries I can remember for the 49ers going all the way back to the John Brodie Gene Washington days. At one point we were missing Eight starters on defense plus many of their back ups as well.

Please let us be healthy next year.

OK -- fine.

If by torches you mean 117 yards passing in 5 quarters then yes he torched the chargers. If by torched you mean 1 touchdown in the second half then yes he torched the chargers. And yes I know that he had that 90 yard touchdown but he the drive before had a fumble that let the chargers score which was the exact same type of play. Those two plays that were the exact same in nature is the problem with Kap is that it is either GREAT with a capital G or HORRIFIC with a capital H.

#Chargers QB Philip Rivers' ribs got better 2 weeks ago, then his back flared up & is a bulging disc (as @mortreport said). Surgery possible

At pick #15 right now I believe. If the Rams were to somehow win out and the 49ers lost next week. Pick #11 or #12 is a possibility. Root for Houston, Cleveland, St Louis and Miami.

This game was like the Favre miracle pass game, the game against the Falcons when Nate Clements fumbled after the INT when he tried to score but should've just gone down, and that Cowboys game where they won it in OT when Romo with broken ribs passed to that dude who was only on the team because of Irvin's stupid reality TV show, all wrapped in to one sh*tty package. Just a perfect storm of sh*t.
