You can spell it Kap, some spell it Kaep, doesn't matter, but after today's performance... to me it's just plain Krap!
Welcome to reality where it's not just Roman and the O line s**tting the bed. Nice to meet you!

If we had won this game, we would've lost to the saints, and probably lost the entire season. If we had won, we would've gone into NO, and played the Saints exactly the same way we played the Rams; 100% no doubt about this. With the loss, there's at least a chance that this coaching staff, and OL will get their heads out of their asses.

Pretty much exactly what I saw Hawk fans post after they lost to the Rams while expecting to win....and they have won all games since. So, maybe it's a charm.

I've been waiting for this coaching staff to pull its head out its ass for a while now, I don't think it's going to happen.

Isn't the season already over? Half the conference is ahead of us for a playoff spot. This team is done, the Saints game will just put the nail in the coffin.

I love the 49ers. I will watch every game, just like I've watched every game that I could possibly get to some way. I'll wear my jersey, and my hat.
That said. There is no way in heaven we turn this around and make the playoffs. We've had 3 really great seasons. We've experienced some injuries and quite a few setbacks, and I think we just aren't going to be able to flip a switch and play lights out. It goes deeper than that. I don't agree that harbaugh has lost the team, and I don't think he'll be fired. I think It's just a bad season, crap happens and you just keep showing up, keep playing, and see what shakes out.
my bet is 9-7, and we miss the playoffs for the first time in Kaps career. Hopefully not, but it would take a major shift in events in the NFL, and the cardinals are just having everything go their way...it's frustrating because that used to be us.

We're going to be battling the Seahawks, Packers and Cowboys for a wildcard spot the rest of the way. It doesn't look pretty.

Exactly, before the window completely closes on this most talented team.
I think the window is closed. The best chance was a couple years ago against Baltimore. After this season, know one knows how this team will look like. They'll still be young but who knows if there will still be veteran leadership. Who knows if Harbs is still even here.
Once the D starts to age and Gore is gone we will be in major trouble. This team has always been carried by the D and Gore.
I don't ting the window is closed. . . . . BUT WE HAVE TO DO IT THIS YEAR!!! Next season will be even tougher. I doubt Cowboy will play beyond this season. And from what I've seen we don't have a replacement for him yet. But the fact remains: Roman is gonna have to go and JH will have to focus solely on being a HC, and not a play caller/play over-rider. If not, then our window is closed right now.
How can we do it this year when we are so wrong schematically ? Do you expect Harbaugh to just talk to the team and say hey guys sorry we got it 100% wrong, let's just go back to our 2012 playbook and win the Super Bowl OK ?
Joke aside, I really do believe we will have to change our offensive philosophy from this current mess to something that resembles our 2012 self. That will require a complete overhaul. There is just no way we can win sh*t playing to this current joke of a playbook. Is embarrassing !!
Nope!! Going away from it was the sin. The fact is that JH and Roman fixed what wasn't broken. All the talk about teams catching up to the read-option made those two go away from it before teams first proved that they could take it away. This philosophy - whatever the fuk it is - isn't doing our O-line any favors. I think the front office should take a page out of Jerry Jones playbook. Hire an offensive co-coordinator and force JH to be a HC and not a play caller/play over-rider.

Ironically,I was a proponent of 3-4 WR sets before this season, but I didn't know we would run the ball so much less. We are wasting our RB talent in Gore and Hyde. It seems to me Harbaugh just doesn't know what he is doing. I think he is just trying to force this new philosophy down the team's throat. Let's face it, different philosophies work for different teams, but let's just say this current one is not for ours.
It just baffles me when traditionally heavy passing teams such as the Packers, Pats and Saints are switching to a much more balanced attack by running the ball much more than before after seeing the success of the 9ers and the Seahawks and we do a complete 180 and turn away from what what we know best and betray the run game. I really strongly believe a balanced approach is the way go, much like what we used to do in 2012.
Bottom line, if we continue to stick to this new pass-heavy philosophy, we are just digging a deeper and deeper grave for ourselves.
Well its hard for me to believe they will just change overnight. Against the Saints, you actually need that passing attack. I do agree with you though. The running game has completely disappeared and is no longer a factor. The OL isn't what it was either. Its hard for me to believe that they will get a win in New Orleans next week like this.

Rams team 31 ranked defense, but lost to them after a rested bye week. Our defense held them to 13 pts, but the offense couldn't score more than 10pts against their 31st defense at home
Wow!

That's f**ked up

I think it's time to have a players only meeting. That's the kind of stuff that can really turn a season around. We need the Vets to step up and challenge each and every player to better themselves

Bottom line is if you allow 13 pts you should win the game period. It's totally inexcusable, the end.

I concur.
Basically, they need to go round the room and decide for themselves what kind of football they should be playing to give them the best chance to win. Frank already spoke up about it and is so true. 41 passes vs 21 runs is just a complete joke.

I say fxxk the coaches at this point, they haven't a clue what they are doing. The captains should have a sit-down with Harbaugh and let him know this new offensive philosophy is BS (with all do respect) and iron out a new plan going forward to try to turn this thing around.
