Had he been able to avoid the tackle, he was free to tae the edge and be off and running. This is why that ruling is a crock. If you watch Austin...just Austin, you can see him jump backwards on his own to avoid Borland and try to get away from him. Not that it s/h been the difference in the game but yeah, that was a terrible call and worse explanation.

Exactly.. if he had ran for a td
I'm sure they wouldn't have reversed it... even tho we were abismal on offense that would have been 2 pts and we could have won on a chip shot fg.. maybe momentum would have swung our way I dunno.. my whole week is ruined and I'm having flashes of the game in my head with all the bonehead stuff we did its making it hard to sleep
people need to r e l a x .. the trend this year was WWW LL WWW LL WWW LL- as it stands now we should win the next 3 .. # havefaith

problem is we cant really afford to lose 2 more.
I can care less about the Kap / VD interviews. One tries too hard to sound highly intelligent while the other doesn't sound very bright whatsoever....

Yeah, and that's not exactly a bad thing.

Let's think...

Say we go 9-7...not bad considering we were missing most of our pro owlets for over half the season.

We'll end up getting crabtree, lupati, and others cheaper because the stats from a winning season won't be there...

We'll have some strong picks from this draft and a chance to upgrade our offensive line.

It's never just about one season. Seasons come and go but dynasties and legends live on forever. Let's keep drafting well, and we can take one year flop for a 10 year run...

Our defense isn't the issue. Missing our pro bowlers isn't the issue. This offense, specifically the passing game, has deeper issues than just the o-line. I mean, maybe if we had our pro bowl defensive players we could shut teams out or hold them to 7 points but this offense has MAJOR redzone issues. Roman needs to go and we need viable QB's behind Kap so as to 'motivate' him. Gotta draft oline. The thing is, when we don't make the playoffs this year what impact will that have in the locker room and between the FO and coaching staff? All of this could get ugly.

Well said. Welcome aboard!

Cheers dude!

I know good times will happen soon enough! Just cant wait to see my first game!

Who knows, maybe we'll go on a tear and win seven of the next eight games or win all of them. We can dream, right?

Yeah anything can happen. 2011 Giants and 2012 Ravens went through some gut wrenching losing streaks during their championship season and squeaked into the playoffs with 9-7 and 10-6 records.

I just don't know what's up with our o-line -- we haven't been able to run the ball or pass block -- it's sickening.

True and this year is real tight... there could be a few 10-6 teams in the NFC staying home for the playoffs. I hope we're not one of those staying home

10-6 is going to be real tough to achieve, and even it if is that might not be good enough this year. Right now the 49ers would be out, so with this loss and that Bears game loss, the margin of error has slipped to nil the rest of the way. Need a lot of help.

We just need to figure out what's up with our oline. If that's fixable and we don't get hampered by any more major injuries and our defense getting healthier and better soon -- we could very well go on a ridiculous run.

We're gonna find out in the next few weeks if Harbaugh is going to get that extension or not.

You can spell it Kap, some spell it Kaep, doesn't matter, but after today's performance... to me it's just plain Krap!
Another scoreless 2nd half at home.. 0 points in the 3rd and 0 in the 4th..

Some ones head must roll.. It can turn the season around.. But some ones got to go..
With the weapons this team has on offense, can't score a point in the second half in your building as a 10 point favorite ? GTFOOH...

Exactly, before the window completely closes on this most talented team.

I think the window is closed. The best chance was a couple years ago against Baltimore. After this season, know one knows how this team will look like. They'll still be young but who knows if there will still be veteran leadership. Who knows if Harbs is still even here.

Once the D starts to age and Gore is gone we will be in major trouble. This team has always been carried by the D and Gore.
I don't ting the window is closed. . . . . BUT WE HAVE TO DO IT THIS YEAR!!! Next season will be even tougher. I doubt Cowboy will play beyond this season. And from what I've seen we don't have a replacement for him yet. But the fact remains: Roman is gonna have to go and JH will have to focus solely on being a HC, and not a play caller/play over-rider. If not, then our window is closed right now.

How can we do it this year when we are so wrong schematically ? Do you expect Harbaugh to just talk to the team and say hey guys sorry we got it 100% wrong, let's just go back to our 2012 playbook and win the Super Bowl OK ?

Joke aside, I really do believe we will have to change our offensive philosophy from this current mess to something that resembles our 2012 self. That will require a complete overhaul. There is just no way we can win sh*t playing to this current joke of a playbook. Is embarrassing !!

Saints game will either turn our season around or it will end it.

Bowman is might not be himself going forward. Cully is playing his last year probably. This defense might be different next season, especially if Fangio is gone to.

i wish i could quote eeeerbody that is throwing in the towel. LET ME TELLL YOU THIS, UNTIL THE RECORD SAYS OTHER WISE IM NOT GIVING UP. NEVER

Taking the realist approach is not throwing in the towel. Bottom line is we cant lose another game, and Sea/AZ have to lose a lot. I dont see all 3 happening right now.

Agree. Its gonna take a miracle for the niners to get a wildcard. Detroit will have to lose 4-5 games. GB will have to have a meltdown. Carolina will need a meltdown. The seahawks will need to lose 4-5. The Giants can't get hot. Its gonna be hard.

Is not about throwing in the towel, is about football common sense. There is just simply NO WAY we can get into the playoffs playing to this current joke of a playbook. This so-called new offensive philosophy has now been tried and proven a failure.

Ironically,I was a proponent of 3-4 WR sets before this season, but I didn't know we would run the ball so much less. We are wasting our RB talent in Gore and Hyde. It seems to me Harbaugh just doesn't know what he is doing. I think he is just trying to force this new philosophy down the team's throat. Let's face it, different philosophies work for different teams, but let's just say this current one is not for ours.

It just baffles me when traditionally heavy passing teams such as the Packers, Pats and Saints are switching to a much more balanced attack by running the ball much more than before after seeing the success of the 9ers and the Seahawks and we do a complete 180 and turn away from what what we know best and betray the run game. I really strongly believe a balanced approach is the way go, much like what we used to do in 2012.

Bottom line, if we continue to stick to this new pass-heavy philosophy, we are just digging a deeper and deeper grave for ourselves.

Anyone else noticing our W/L pattern this year including exhibition? LL-WWW-LL-WWW-L..... if the pattern is correct we will to lose to Rams, win the next 3 against Saints, Giants, and Redskins. We will lose to Seattle at home, but beat them in their stadium. Our record will be 10-6

That pattern will be broken this weekend from here on out its going to be like this

WWWWWWWWWWWW

I hope we make the playoffs at 10-6!!!! We should beat the rams, but we definitely cannot take them lightly.

Looks like the pattern continues......

It is usually our good luck charm.

I showed up and made a polite post, prior to the game. You ignored it and did not respond to it.

How come?
