It's not Kap. The plays call for these deep passes - that's why all the wrinkles in play action, etc. All deception. We're looking for WRs to come open deep and it's not happening because the pass-rush is good. Go after the middle of the field with RBs as receivers. Screens on 1st or 2nd down. Get SOMETHING on those downs and put a good drive together.
Yup. Kap needs to re-adjust his line of sight. Don't look deep anymore. There won't be anything there with VD out. Look wide short and middle short to open the 2nd half.
LOL - there's no one open short because the RB are being kept in to block for the shots down field.
That's not always the case and that can also be made as an adjustment. You can beat pressure with quick releasing your RBs and hitting them in stride. Get that ball out of Kaps hands and quickly into the RBs hands on a quick pass. Gore had one on a circle route to end the 1st quarter. Hunter had some room to run had he caught that ball cleanly.
