good, he needs to think about whats more important, superbowl/hall of fame or drinking/weed? he will be suspended for at least 2 games, i hope it 4 so he starts getting the message.

He doesn't need to be suspended 4 games just to "get the message". That is what the month long rehab is supposed to do. No need to pile on well past this life altering intervention in the name of aiding the mental health and wellness he is already undergoing. Now it might help as far as getting the message out to other NFL players but I think after this Aldon will have gotten the message loud and clear as there is sure to be discipline even after his treatment

Suspended indefinitely while already away from the team on paid leave and receiving paid treatment. Call it a suspension to the outsiders but he's not playing anyway. It's just a mirage of discipline... Smoke and mirrors.
After treatment he'll miss one game (under suspension), while in reality he'll be working on his conditioning and getting back into football shape.
Unless the league suspends him, he'll play.

This writer is a douche, too...
But my question is, since he's in rehab, are they gonna make him get rid of that bird's nest? I'm afraid something wicked might be growing inside of it

Another sanctimonious rant from the "enlightened" media on how to deal with a societal issue like substance abuse when it involves athletes ... blah, blah, blah ... yet complete silence when one of their own missteps ... where was the outrage that NBC chose not to suspend the almighty Al Michaels, and where were the calls for him to apologize to his colleagues ??
Awesome response IMO!!
