I absolutely LOVE what Baalke and Harbaugh have done with this team the last 2.5 years!! Im just saying most of us fans hated the AJ Jenkins pick and turns out he might flop? I hope Aj blows up huge this year and totally kicks A but as for the 12' draft? Well lets be honest, its been a wreck. Fleming cut, Slowey cut, AJ hasn't done nothing to date. Looney hasn't done nothing to date. LMJ showed glimpses so maybe he's got hope. And I still havn't heard a word about Trenton Robinson or Cam Johnson. That's 6 draft picks with LMJ the only one that has shown he can play. That's not good man. Baalke has drafted well but in 12' I think he might have blew it. That's all I was saying. I absolutely LOVE the job Baalke and Harbaugh have done!!
Do you guys remember what yall told me about not worrying...and that Craig Dahl would NOT get ANY starting time, unless of an injury...and he was just here for special teams? Well God Dang'it he is starting this Thursday...and if he gets lucky and some tip ball just falls on his lap while he is on the ground... man he might even start the season.

I wish they had Reid out there getting torched my Manning for the only drive he will get in that game... I want him to get torched now and learn before we have to face Rodgers, Wilson, and Luck in real games.

Jenkins will play this year as well as LMJ and Cam will make this roster and see some time. Can't comment too much on Trenton and Looney. Let us not forget that we didn't use much draft capital in the 2012 draft but we kind of paid it forward to this 2013 draft where it seems there was more talent available and it appears that we came out well as a result with 11 picks (5 top 100) in 2013 as opposed to the 7 picks (2 top 100) in 2012. We didn't spend a lot in 2012 and we pretty much got what we paid for but the reverse may be true in 2013

I still think that Reid will start week 1 unless this trend continues. Dahl won't last long as a starter in this secondary
worst. coaching staff. ever.

– Practice concluded with the defense vs. defense and offense vs. offense on separate fields. Light-hearted stuff. Craig Dahl served as the defense's first quarterback and handed the ball off to NaVarro Bowman. Then Aldon Smith entered at quarterback and completed a pass to Bowman, who playfully spiked it into Nate Stupar's back.

With so many newbies it becomes hard to tell the difference, some posters here are just batsh*t cray.

This.

Dude I can't even tell anymore.

Anytime I feel like even trying to nitpick this coaching staff, I remember how drunk and depressed I was in 2005, when the 49ers lost to the Redskins 52-17.

Or in 2006... when they lost to the Chiefs 41-0 and the Bears 41-10.

I could go on...

Same, I just remember Jose Cortez and Dennis Erickson.

You honestly think getting setup for failure is the best thing for the development of a young S? Its not. Its better that he plays against lesser competition to get his feet wet in the preseason, and get confidence, then work up to higher talent by game three of the preseason. You dont want a young S over thinking things. you keep it simple, let him adjust to the speed of an NFL game, gain confidence in their ability, and work them into better competition slowly.
Can't wait for Reid's first "woo lick"!!!!
Good take from Mike Sando while he was at 49ers training camp.
