Tue. Aug. 27 - First roster cut of the offseason. Before 4:00 p.m. (EST) the 49ers must reduce their roster to a maximum of 75 players.

Sat. Aug. 31 - Final roster cut. Prior to 6:00 p.m. (EST), the 49ers must reduce their roster to a maximum of 53 players on the Active/Inactive List.

If the 49ers have players in the categories of Active/Physically Unable to Perform or Active/Non-Football Injury or Illness, they must select one of the following options: Place player on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform or Reserve/Non-Football Injury or Illness, whichever is applicable; request waivers; terminate contract; trade contract; or continue to count the player on the Active List.

Sun. Sep. 1 - Final day of preseason training camp for the 49ers.

Claiming period for players placed on waivers at the final roster reduction will end at 12:00 p.m. (EST). Also, the 49ers may establish a Practice Squad of eight players by signing free agents who do not have an Accrued Season of free agency credit or who were on the 46-player Active List for less than nine regular season games during each of any Accrued Seasons. A player cannot serve on the Practice Squad for more than three seasons.

For those of us without Sunday Ticket this site shows you which games you will get in your area on that week. For those of you that stream games it's nice to be able to watch a few on tv and with this site you can see if that's possible. They usually put the map up around Wednesday for that weeks games. They should have pre season as well and what TV stations will cover those games but they aren't up yet.

Extremely excited to be there August 8th and 10th. This year, the 49ers finish the job!

Why are Hunter and Williams going on the PUP? I thought they were both ready to go.
