You're right. Great report; more details than the "beat writers".

McCoy is making more money this season than Kaep, so was there really any doubt he would win the starting job? They wouldn't have signed him to a $1.5mil./yr deal if he wasn't starting material.

Jumping the gun a bit there. He hasnt won the starting job yet. No doubt that he COULD win the starting job. Do like hearing others w/ that much confidence in the young man.

What the hell is going on here? I caught this convo half way through and had to run it back to figure out why people were saying Colt would win starting job.

seconded BASG does good work. He reports what he sees, and leaes most of the interpretation to the reader. What a concept!

Why? Because he's outperforming CK in TC. While CK is busying throwing INT's and staring down receivers, McCoy is droppin 70 yard bombs.

A heavy dose of boredom induced sarcasm and a sprinkling of inoccent gullibility. We need some games to watch. BADLY

This. Also Kaepernick has been throwing too hard and injuring players. McCoy's passes come down more like punts, so there's less of a chance of the whole starting offense ending up on IR. It's only a matter of time before Kaep kills someone with an erratic pass and I don't think the coaching staff wants to take that risk.

he was a good student of the game I think. I think that is why he makes a good analyst amongst the clowns on espn,. that is just my opinion on him but he and steve young provide some normalcy over there.
