I see Moss and Crabtree starting but Manningham plays more than Moss.

it will be Smith, Kaepernick, Tolzien...even though Tolzien is clearly better than Kap at this point

Probably.. and probably the way it should be for another season. If Ck7 deserves a demotion? then fine. But if it's pretty even? I don't want Ck7's confidence shattered by being bumped down to # 3.
Tolzien might be the most seamless backup to Alex. The problem with officially demoting CK during the regular season is that the #3 QB gets few reps. If CK is still seen as the heir apparent, he'll need work. Could the coaches have CK taking the regular season reps as the #2, but have him #3 on Sundays?

Matt Barrows ‏@mattbarrows Familiar face observed at 49ers: Julian Peterson. Appears to be here on a social visit.

Adam Schlefter ‏@AdamSchlefter My sources tell me that Julian Peterson's visit to 49ers camp is strictly social.

#49ers announce Fan Fest crowd of 32,000. Last year: Fewer than 10,000.
f**king bandwagon fans

For real. People suck.

Not saying all those people are bandwagon but it's amazing when a team starts winning how many people suddenly claim to be die hard fans. That's ok, all of us that suffered for so long and put blood, sweat and tears into this team know who we are and it will be that much sweeter for us when it does finally happen.

THIS

Then you get all the losers who claim to be 49ers fans. Before the preseason opener I told somebody how excited I was to see LaMichael James. His response "Yeah it would be pretty sick to draft him next year"

well this years fan fest was also a practice that was the only open practice. Last year was just a fan fest.

i think sf giants fan fast was worse.. i went back in 09 and there were like 10 people there lol

the year after they won it all.. i didn't even get into the damn park because the line was so long

The problem is Skip in a major idiot. Moss should be fine, he knew what he was signing up for. Moss, if he plays like he should, will get the catches and plays he should get. No worries. No guaranteed money, so can be cut and only pay what he earned per week.

I think it's a good idea limiting him around 20-25 snaps considering his reputation of taking plays off.

What if those are the 20 to 25 snaps he is taking off?

Alex Smith had one of, if not the, best practice I've seen in 5 training camps with #49ers. Accurate on several deep passes today.#Camp49
