When they come back to us like charles haley did or when they finally retire, all is ok again. On a side note i am very amused by people who hate julian who did great things for us and was never a team cancer but yet they worship the ground that owens and nate davis walk on. i am sorry but i can not figure out that logic

I've hated Peterson ever since he became a Seahawk his sack celebration against us was f**king annoying!

I am super excited about Alex this year. I've been one of those on the fence fans when it comes to evaluating Smith over the years...I credit him for his accomplishments and definitely am not afraid to point out his mistakes.
But the guy really won me over against New Orleans last year, and everything that I am hearing about him this off season forces me to believe that he's ready.
Ready to take games over, and he is building a rapport with Moss, Manningham, Crabtree and don't forget about his favorite receiver, VD.
Can't f**king wait.

Great to hear that about Alex.
As for Peterson, I liked him while he was a Niner. All that changed when he left and started doing his lil celebrations. Now, I am apathetic and he's nothing more than a distant memory that will be forgettable in two minutes.

Alex Smith had one of, if not the, best practice I've seen in 5 training camps with #49ers. Accurate on several deep passes today.#Camp49

I just think we keep 3 TE's. Nate Byham is nowhere to be seen, and Rueland made some nice grabs vs Minn
Demarcus Dobbs will be our 3rd TE and he plays Defense. Extra roster spot for somebody else
Agree. I think Dobbs will be our 3rd TE to start the season. He has also looked very good on defense so far.

Maybe its finally starting to click for the young man, hopefully he can transfer it over to games.
