And the running game is not part of the offence. We have the most creative running game in the NFL, the playcalling ha snot been bad, the execution has been from time to time,
I have absoulutley no problem with the fact that we are not slinging the ball arround wilidly, the offence is balanced, yet the passing game needs work, it will get it in the offseason. Nothing happens overnight.

as long as Seely and Fangio and Tomsula stick around for awhile, I don't care what Roman does---but I'm glad he's (likely) staying for another year (at least).

meh 13-3 is because defense and strong running game.
29th ranked passing game, barely 3000 yards passing in a league that allows 4000 very easily, 17 Td passes and awful red zone Td percentage.
But its all good.

At least he isn't out of the league like Jamarcus Russel. You can say what you want about his past, but you can't question the guys heart and resilencey. The most ironic part is he is still here when all the coaches HC and OCs and a couple of GMS that didn't put him in a situation where it is easy to win as a rookie are not.
I know it will come as a shock, but you guys obviously dont realise that you have accidentally come out of the Alex Smith thread and are now in the Roman thread.

I feel bad for Roman. He obviously wants to run his own program. I hope he stays as the OC in SF and only takes a high profile college head coaching job. They will be available next year or maybe the year after. If your in Roman's position, there is no need to rush into a bad situation.
I really don't see Vic F going anywhere soon. I am glad harbaugh hired him.

I hope he is staying, this happened with Norv Turner, he was likely staying, then week later he was in SD as HC.

yeah, he could still leave, but the difference between Roman leaving and Turner leaving is that this time we won't be starting over on offense. I don't want him to leave but he's the one coordinator we can lose, so if we're going to lose any of our coaches, it might as well be him.
but i'd prefer he stay for at least another year--i hope we keep the entire coaching staff intact for as long as possible.

After re-reading his comments from previous news releases, he wanted to stay in San Francisco. The big reason is his family want the bay area to be their home for a very long time. Yeah, he's from NJ and if you've been to the actual place - there is no comparison!
As for Tomsula - it is the same thing, his family wouldn't want to leave.

No way he would turn down a big money guaranteed contract. He didn't get the job because he's a nobody who has ridden Harbaugh's coat tails.
